Well we could have had Boykin too, I know he's a real good CB, so we're getting quality in our Scout's minds with Flemming if they're taking him above Boykin.

Fleming

What if one of them goes down? You want Jefferson to be a starter again?

Fleming was BPA and a VERY good player.

fits into the system perfect. Physical dude

I understand that he might be a good player. And I am usually all for BPA. But our OL is so thin that a stiff wind might be enou to give Kolb his next concussion. All those shiny weapons on offense mean nothing without a decent line. As bad as Levi is, if he gets hurt, we are more than screwed.

I am waiting for this quote from Whiz and Graves:

" He was the top rated player on our board, only 5 slots behind Floyd. We love his passion and physicality from the CB position. We almost took him over Floyd."

Fleming seems to fit our system well and doesn't look like a reach or anything... still some quality OL on the board we may consider later too.

Man, if we had our 2nd round pick and got an OT with it before this pick. I would be ready to crown this one of our best drafts of all time. Bummer.

Anyone know what the deal was with the Academic Suspension that caused him to miss Spring Practice last year at OU?

For everyone who complains we aren't taking an O-lineman and going after BPA I don't want to see you complain about Levi Brown and how we could have had Adrian Peterson.

Yet another skill-position player.

Fleming seems like a good value, but we have to improve up front on both sides of the ball. Soon.
