At least they did what they were supposed to do. If this had been a game or we lost to that dreck I’d have gone into the offseason pretty distraught. And I’m one that typically roots for draft position at this juncture.
Same. I’m usually #TeamDraftPick around this time but I really wanted to sweep someone this season.

The 49ers weren't checked out. They played us tough for half the game. Lots of fights indicates they weren't sleep walking.

Does it change anything? Not really. Good to get to 8 wins. We feel like a .500 team. Just so many missed opportunities this year.
Definite progress. Beat a couple playoff teams, Rams, Chargers, and should have beaten a couple more. This offseason is critical; the roster is a work in progress and the offensive coaching staff needs some changes.

That’s what I was afraid of. 13th sounded way too high for me.

I have zero confidence that Monti will find us anyone who even contributes next year with that pick.
With a couple QBs rising in the pre draft process, a top 10 WR and a couple good OTs... we are sitting good to get either a top 3 edge or top 4 DT...I know that sounds like sloppy seconds but several of these guys are only really separated by the body type you want in your system

We were ranked tied 13th with CIN in the pro football reference power rankings before the game today. Which is the ultimate metric that takes in SOS, MOV etc. We probably move up a spot or two. But they had SEA and the Rams as worse teams by the numbers. I think we finished like 27th overall last year by that SRS number.

If you are bullish on a stock you buy at $4 and it doubles to $8 in one cycle, most people hold onto it. Even if they expected more sooner.
