Yeah you’ll have to show me the last time adding a pro bowler in their prime rocked a team negatively like that due solely to play (and not personality like an AB).
Why would I have to prove all of that? All that needs to happen is if the trade is largely successful or not. SF didn't just add a pro-bowler in his prime, they traded for a pro-bowler who is oft-injured and may be passed his prime.

Because you were the one that threw out the hypothesis that it could happen. As for being in his prime, through 7 games he’s averaging more than 100 yards from scrimmage per game. And he’s presently healthy.

No, you asked why there were people that didn't like the trade for SF.

I gave you reasons that you wanted clarification on. Either it works or it doesn't. I'm not the one moving the goal posts asking for minute details as to what quantifies a good trade or not.

I think Kenneth Walker is going to give us a lot more grief over time than McCaffrey. Phenomenal game today however.

I stand by everything I said.
So do I. It should still be SuperBowl or bust for SF. He was oft-injured and started his career in SF injured too. I guess I want him to stay healthy, because I don't want anyone to be injured. (except for players on the Cowboys)

Another great example in society of people not being able to admit they’re wrong.

I mean, come on folks. I’ve done it about this coaching staff and it didn’t kill me. It won’t kill you, either.

He had 80% of the carries and over 1/3 of the receptions for the 49ers, hes a great player but they are going to wear him out or get him hurt. He was still out there pretty late in the 4th.

I was dead wrong.

I thought he was going to continue to get the injured, which is generally how it plays out when RBs miss a lot of time.

They gave up a ton, and he started injured in SF.

If he goes to the IR in a few weeks, is it still a good trade? I still don't trust that he is past his injury woes. Usually players that are often injured don't just get and stay healthy.

As of right now, the trade looks good for SF though, I'll admit that. That said, SF is still the team to beat, even after they gave up all of what they gave up for Lance. They are arguably the best run team in the NFL, from the top down.
