huh

Both Skelton and Mccown was large with wheels, This guy is so much better than DA, Matt Leinart, Hoyer, I could just puke! Hell I can't even think of all the thuds we have heard in Arizona - and I can't blame it on the QB's -

Michael Bidwill needs to step down and let the old man run this sucker. It is a train wreck.

It;s about time we draft a qb with some legs. Im tired of these cement-foot qbs not named Warner or Palmer. And plus im a VT fan. He could've been the best qb in VT history, but really hasn't lived up to his potential. I blame Beamer on not teaching the proper techniques to succeed as a drop-back qb in the NFL.

Has there ever been a succeful pro QB that had to be 'fixed' coming out of college? Every year there seems to be project QBs but I cannot recall a single one that actually panned out.

1. How come all analyst they something compeltely different about his attitude?

2. If he didn't have a good grade on the Cards board they would not have drafted him.
He must have good character and work ethics or they wouldn't of picked him.

I believe the Cards brought him in before the draft

Yeah that work well for 40 years :mulli: I don't like Thomas either, but this franchise is sooooo much better off while Bowtiee just eating ice cream :D

BA and Tom Morre need to re-invent Logan Thomas, the QB---he played for 3 different OCs the past three years and in college or anywhere that is tough. Here he will get the continuity and receive first-class coaching and mentoring.

The fact that they didn't wait and took him in the 4th round speaks volumes to the level of interest and commitment BA has in his fellow Hokie.

You cannot draw up a more perfect physical model for the BA type QB. This kid has elite ability---he throws with higher RPMs than Colin Kaepernick (which is saying something in itself), is just as fast and is way tougher. When you see iffy college passers like Kaepernick and E.J. Manuel catch on as young players in the NFL, it gives a kid like Thomas a chance.

If Thomas isn't making huge strides in two years---they will switch him over to TE.

But, my money is on BA and Tom Moore. They will push this kid hard and ride him fast and steady.

Plus, as for the Kaepernick comparisons---Logan Thomas doesn't need to wind up the way Kaepernick does---he can rope the ball in a snap of the fingers.

I will not call it a bad pick, I call it a "you have a hell of a lot of work" ahead of you Tom Moore... and goodbye Lindley :D

In looking at the highlight reel, I'm concerned about him reading progressions. Didn't see that in hardly any of the highlights.

10 7/8 hand size. Largest of all QB's.
118" broad jump. Longest of all QB's
35.5 Vert. Highest of all QB's.
Tallest and Heaviest of all QB's in Draft
4.61 40 yard. Fastest of all QB's.
4.18 shuttle. 2nd fastest.

But the dude has accuracy issues.

This is the theme of this draft. Everyone has been a top performer at their positions. Well, and team captain too.

Well at least it took until their 5th pick for me to hate the selection. Why draft this kid when McCarron and Mettenberger are still on the board? You know guys who can actually play QB!!

Would have preferred to take a flier on McCarron instead of a QB that comes with a built in "well if he fails..." back up plan.

Don't shoot the messenger but they killed this pick on sirius. Said you can't teach accuracy

This is what makes this my favorite pick of the draft. It's a gamble pick for sure, no doubt (kids arm is super though...can't teach the arm) with accuracy issues, but if he doesn't pan out at QB (and they'll know that within the first year I'd bet) then it's not a wasted pick...he still has value in BA's offense, and we can go hunt for a QBOF in the next draft.

It's a beautiful pick IMO, from lots of angles...project potential, value if it doesn't work, no pressure to start right away and cause QB issues this win-now season, ability to assess and re-focus on the position in 2015 draft if needed. I love this pick for many reasons, not just the player but the chess game all around it.

I'm beginning to wonder if BA has a blind spot when it comes to QBs. He seems to be some enamored with the big guys with the big arms that he overlooks stuff like accuracy, eyes and footwork. He really has his work cut out for him with Thomas.

He is really raw. Even his highlights have holes all over.

Not only accuracy issues it also appears he has trouble reading a defense

BA and Moore have to see something in him.

Logan Thomas is a project, had three coordinators in three years, they need to develop him, barring injuries won't see the field this year.

I try to see the positives on all the Cards pick. I can't see any at all on this pick. He is terrible.

Mettenberger is a dirty piss test player already, with injuries. McCarron is a doucheface that nobody likes and isn't the leader or player that Johnny Football, another doucheface, is.

We don't NEED a QB. We need a project to see if gold can be struck. we got that.
