I have faith in BA and Tom Moore. It's as simple as that. As a former coach, I love that BA is swinging for the fences, because talent-wise, no other QB in this draft can hold this kid's jock. And it's not like Thomas is stupid or has character issues. He's highly motivated and as Todd McShay said that even in a room of All-Stars people gravitate to Logan Thomas.

At BC the past 4 years our QB Chase Rettig, who is a good, strong-armed college QB, went through 4 OCs in 4 years. As was the case with Thomas, it was so hard to take his game to the next level when adjusting to new systems and coaching philosophies. Look at how long it took Palmer and the Cardinals' offense to adjust to BA's system.

Coulda swung for the same fence in round 6 easy!

So Arians and Keim don't have a clue? I beg to differ.

NFL Network had completely the opposite to say. Felt it was the ideal spot for a huge upside QB and talked about seeing Big Ben in BA's eyes when thinking about this player.

Polian will give BA a call only if he remember where he put his rolodex before his mid-morning nap (says the guy who loves ancient Tom Moore) :D

there hasn't been a single pick yet that made sense to anyone? except Cards fans looking to defend BASK?

I wish the Niners, Rams or seahawks would draft like this! We would rule the world!

Both Skelton and Mccown was large with wheels, This guy is so much better than DA, Matt Leinart, Hoyer, I could just puke! Hell I can't even think of all the thuds we have heard in Arizona - and I can't blame it on the QB's -

Michael Bidwill needs to step down and let the old man run this sucker. It is a train wreck.

I read this post 3x and still have no idea what you're talking about?

And the point still stands that these aren't bad picks until it is proven on the field. Two years from now BASK could be looking like geniuses or could be looking for new jobs, who knows. I just find it a bit annoying that people are jumping off the deep end when none of these guys have played single snap yet.

Appearantly Smelly thinks that Mikey drafted Logan, and that Mikey's father should come back and take over operations again.

I don't agree with it one bit but that's what the decoder says.

So Bask has blown the whole draft and Beanie Wells needed to carry the ball more?

yea

Have you heard anything else since 1988? How has that worked out for us?
Why is it unreasonable to expect the fan base and any one of the media outlets to say -oh hell yea - no questions about that Cardinal pick! Even last year we had cooper! Beanie, Levi, LD, DWill

We have had bad luck with good players - but rarely do we have good luck with bad players? I propose it aint luck. Every pick is a reach at draft position - which may be ok occasionally, with no glaring needs - but why every single place on our draft board compared to every other draft board?

With 3 guys still on the board who spent years playing against and carving up SEC defenses, this pick for Scud 2.0 is ridiculous. I think this is BASK trying to be too cute for their own good.

What? Another laugher! Wow!

This draft has me scratching my head. Seems like draft based on very specific needs, with little regard to BPA. Hope everything pans out. Logan seems like an absolutely terrible pick. Size is so overrated. (That's what she said!).

Look, I do not believe the Cards drafted him to be a QB. I mean, they could have gone for other QB potentials on the board, even in later rounds. E.G., Brett Smith (U of Wyoming) possibly in the 6th round. It makes a lot more sense that they drafted a big guy like this, with decent speed, to be a TE. He together with Troy Niklas on the field could well make some sense. JMO.

I'm gonna agree & give you the benefit of doubt with the thought process, but counter that.

I've heard those same things brought up with other QBs in the past & things didn't change drastically. On the Palmer comparison, he adapted after 8 games & that's with a proven NFL QB. I still stick with the you have accuracy or you don't.

I still say the better pick would've been McCarron or Carl Bradford whom I think is gonna be an above average edge rusher. I think he's better than Acho & Okafor & he's pretty good at containing the edge in the run game as well.

FYI.....

MarkDalton @CardsMarkD
Bill Polian also hated @AZCardinals selection of Tyrann @Mathieu_Era last yr so certainly room for reasonable people to disagree

Wow!! What an arm. Thanks for the video.

Raw, raw, raw.

I hope his inconsistencies are due to some fundamentals from only playing QB for 3 years or so, because that arm is special and effortless. Plus he's a load to bring down.
