If the Cards play fundamentally solid as they did vs. the Jets, we'll be in the thick of it.

That doesn't make us a sure winner, but (based on Seattle's slight fall-off in talent & how we've played vs. SF and the NYJ, we've got a 50-50 shot at winning this sucker.

Goals: (1) stop the run. (2) contain Wilson. (3) don't do anything dumb. (4) & then play our game.

Be Seahawks fan

Mom gets you up at 8

Wake up River, it's gameday

Put on your Twelfth Fan jersey

Seahawks fans are the best fans in the league

Grab Cap'n Crunch and milk and turn on pregame

Mom turns off TV and takes away Cap'n Crunch

"You know you're not supposed to have GMOs for breakfast. Now do your chores."

Get grumpy

Take trash out

Wash dishes and bathe dog Ruffsel Wilson

Mow lawn

Mom says you didn't do it well enough, so do it again

Miss first quarter because of chores

Complain to Mom

Relax, you can watch it now, right?

Get cut up hot dogs and cheese for lunch. Your favorite meal!

Sit in front of TV.

Second quarter, Seahawks down 10.

Russell gets sacked again! Stupid other team, why do they have to hurt him like that?

Can't you see he's just trying to do right by his family, why do they have to be so mean?

Yell bad words at TV

Dad says to knock it off.

Mom comes in and turns off the TV

"You've used all of your TV time for the weekend, it's time to start your homework"

Cry

Call mom a bitch

Get sent to room without dinner

Run to room and slam door shut

That'll teach 'em

Pass out crying on Legion of Boom bedsheets

Wake up

It's 8:30, time for bed.

But mom, I'm not sleepy!

We saved you a tofu burger for dinner if you want

Is it gluten free?

Of course it is

Eat tofu burger

Take shower, put on pajamas

Mom comes into bed to tuck you in

Did we win Mom?

Yeah, Russell pulled it out again.

Pump fist in bed, so happy.

Mom sings you a lullaby and tucks you in

Goes to door, blows you a kiss good night

Intercepted by Butler

Huh?

The OPs attempt of trolling is the worst one I have ever seen. I really had to check to see if this was a dude from India, and he is not. He is right smack dab in Seattle. Figures....

Also, isn't the Oline in shambles still?

It's actually getting ok at pass blocking, but run blocking it taking a step back. Middle of the line is growing into something decent, tackles are a mess and depth doesn't exist.

I mentioned dude was an obvious troll and a bad one at that. It may even be some reverse trolling as well. Guy even had carroll spelled wrong.

My whole point of even coming into this thread was to laugh at that guy.

Do you also remember the Seattle fan base?

I had season tickets from 1988 to 2010 and Seattle fans in UofP and SDS were a total NON ISSUE until you guys won the SB.

So please Seattle fan, spare us the bandwagon argument.

I went to every Seahawks game here between 2003 and 2008 and had season tickets for the first 3 years at the new stadium. There were plenty of Hawks fans at each. I remember in 2003 having the DL for Seattle calling for more noise and Hass throwing his arm bands, etc into the crowd. A few years later when Rice was on the team I had a buddy in town and we took a photo near the end of the game and were surrounded by Hawks fans doing the same.

None of that is the point though. I just found it funny that a team that filled up it's own bandwagon would talk against a team that did the same.

Seattle definitely had bandwagon fans and new fans, but just like everyone else there are plenty of us who have been there a long time and it is worth remembering how loud and crazy the Kingdome was back through the mid 80s

Both franchises had to fight awful ownership and fading facilities.

I hate to argue semantics because history is in the mind of the teller but there were games we dreaded the amount of opposing fans; Steelers, Vikings, Cowboys... the Hawks were a non factor in that list until they win. I never thought wow it is loud in here during a single Seattle game back then. Not once.

I wont even attempt to argue the amount of bandwagon Cards fans cuz I know there are tons! Not everyone enjoys misery like us sickos here at ASFN lol. Just the nature of the beat. Obviously we know you are a long time fan because I've known you and your fandom here for years through good times and bad.

My issue with Seattle fans is the entitled attitude. They all seem to speak as tho they are NFL royalty because Seattle got one ring, and 12's all go out of your way to start crap with Cardinal fans and then act like you don't want to argue. It's infuriating! That's why I couldn't comprehend the Seattle media talking about the Cardinals entitled attitude, jeez give me a break talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I have heard dozens of Seattle fans earnestly claim with fervor that they are the best NFL franchise of all time...

Seattle is just in the nouveau riche stage where they have a ring and want into the same discussion as the Pats and Steelers etc. So some fans spend a lot of time insisting on things. Who knows, maybe we'll be there someday.

On the whole most fans are no better or worse than others. Because of their recent success Seattle has just picked up some fans that would have been the same fans of a different t team otherwise.

Although it is interesting how some teams attract more bandwagoners than others. You don't see a lot of bandwagon Ravens fans, for example, and they've had a lot of success in the 2000s.

**Fist bump**

I still think there should be a permanent marker on the UoP field to show the exact spot Petey was when he, in the final moments of the Superbowl, called the worst play in the history of football.

I really wish the cardinals would have hired Bevell as HC (the guy who actually calls offensive plays and is in charge of the passing game)

If Dierdorf, Dobler, Banks, Young, and Finnie are healthy, Hart is going to have all day to pick apart Seattle's secondary. Cards win 30-24.

I just ignore most media and take online stuff for what they are, factories of aggravation and trolling. Any comments section of any article is an absolute horror show.

I also never meant to imply that Seattle brought numbers in line with the blue blood teams, but they were definitely there with a good amount of noise. However, at that point both of our teams were irrelevant so no one really cared.

I typically don't get too involved in most of the football threads here. Occasionally on a "3rd party" or league discussion or if someone had questions on something Seattle.

Will need good games from Kennedy, Jacob Green, Bennett and Michael Sinclair with some help from Chad Brown. If they hold up then Earl, Easley, Sherm and Dave Brown could hold up against Fitz, Boldin and crew

Regardless of the troll, Seattle is a very good team. If we don't play to our capabilities the Cards will be 3-4.

Brilliant - I wonder who else truly gets this one?

Only us old dudes who were around in '76.

I had already been a Cardinals fan for 7 years before Seattle even got their expansion team. (I still think of them as an expansion team.)

Dierdorf was already a former player and local personality for me, so these are just historical references.

His facts are off but his conclusion has merit. We have no one to cover Joey Galloway.

He's referring to the Seahawks very first official NFL game in '76, in which the Cards won 30-24.
