Quite simply it is based on his performance last season, especially against NFC West opponents. He was one of only two visiting quarterbacks who left Century Link Field with more touchdowns than interceptions.

2013 Visiting quarterback performances:
Week 2, Colin Kaepernick: 3 picks, 0 TDs;
Week 3, Chad Henne: 2 picks, 0 TDs;
Week 6, Ryan Fitzpatrick, 2 picks, 0 TDs;
Week 9, Mike Glennon, 0 picks, 2 TDs, passer rating 123.1;
Week 11, Christian Ponder, 2 picks, 1 TD;
Week 11, Matt Cassell, 1 pick, 1 TD
Week 13, Drew Brees, 0 picks, 1 TD, 147 yards
Week 16, Carson Palmer, 4 picks, 1 TD
Week 17 Kellen Clemons, 2 picks, 1 TD;

Against SF in week 15, 18 of 34 for 179 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Passer rating 75.5.
He didn't play against St. Louis.

good info. Im not against it if the coaches like him and he comes cheap and is willing to sit for a year.

If I recall... BA liked him last year and went to see his workout... if cheap, likely better than Lindley, did fairly well on a bad team as a starter as a rook... why not?

He's not worth a 2nd rounder IMO, which is what the Sucs want.

Opening price.

"Can I have a two, have a two, do I hear a two?"

"Four"

"Four is the bid, four is the bid. Can I get a three. Anyone a three?"

"I have a four, four."

"Four going once, going twice, going three times."

"Glennon to the Cards."

I wouldn't give that if the talent in this draft is what the experts think it is. A 5 at most because I still don't think he's anything other than average.

Mettenberger,Savage and Logan Thomas all big armed QBs if you want that.Why give up a 2nd for Glennon.He played better last season than anyone expected but still Bucs signed a guy over him.

And they won't.

Licht knows the value that Keim had last year on Glennon.

From someone who wanted Gabbert over Newton. (lol)

(Couldn't resist, sorry.)
