While I'm all for playing the younger guys and I like that we were able to put more pressure on the QB it left us incredibly soft against the run. We do have some talent but so does every team in the NFL. I think we have more holes than can be fixed in one off season and that's even IF Kolb progresses well and someone finally steps up and claims the number two WR spot. And it's looking more and more like neither of those two things are likely to occur.

Steve
Jackson is as good as they get in the NFL today, it's not like a nobody ran us over. There are obviously parts that need addressing, but I have a good feeling about these guys

All of the sudden the game vs. Eagles (3-5) who are coming off a very tough home loss on Monday Night and now have a short week to prepare for the Cardinals (2-6) takes on a lot more importance.

The last wildcard in the NFC is currently being held by a 5-3 record. If Cards can get hot in November it can make things very interesting come December.

Go Cardinals!

How amazing would that be? Two Cardinals teams that appeared totally out of the race coming back and snagging a Wild Card spot? If the baseball Cardinals can do why not the football Cards.

This isn't hard to grasp for me at all. My loyalties are to the place I was born and grew up in. If the cardinals ever left phoenix you can be damn sure I wouldn't just choose to not root for them but I'd root as hard as I could that they would be terrible. City always comes before team which is why it was probably easy for former cardinals fans to root for the rams. If a team shows no loyalty to you and leaves you'd why the heck should you stay loyal to the team?

This is interesting. I've never been in the situation, so I don't know how I'd react. There's alot of people on this board from cities with different NFL teams. Then again, there's probably just as many people on the St Louis board that switched from Cards to Rams. I guess everybody channels it differently.

With QB John Skelton aka Baby Ben under center the Cardinals just need to simplify things and pound the ball and stick with the 2 TE set. Hopefully TE Todd Heap is back this week.

What I like about Skelton is no play is over as his height and mobility keep defenses on their heels and the play alive- in time for something to develop.

Im really looking forward to Sundays game and seeing a relaxed group of Cardinals taking on a Eagles team that is near mutiny.

Of course that assumes we have a healthy RB availble that is capable of pounding the ball.

With the Pottsville curse officially removed and relocated 2 weeks within the state of Pennsylvania to Penn State Univ - our Cardinals are alive and well!

Go Cardinals!

Based on what? IMO the talent isn't as good as our 2 playoff years. Playmakers or differance makers are there any? Maybe DWash...but as of today...nobody else!!! Players & talent make a system work IMO
now a few weeks later, what do you think? I'm seeing a lot of improvement
