I wonder if the league will announce Washington's suspension before Sheldon Richardson's next suspension, who was just arrested for street racing while being high.

I know this is foolish thinking but I'm holding out hope that the reason we cut Dennard was to open a roster spot for DW's reinstatement this friday.

Doubt it. Mutually exclusive.

It's a little concerning that the league office closes in under 30 minutes and no announcement today.

I was convinced 100% we would know something today and that he would be playing for us at some point this year. Considering he applied on May 8th this really seems like he wont be with the team this year.

Asked about suspended LB Daryl Washington, Arians reiterated no reason to speak on subject until DWash reinstated. #CardsCamp

so tired of the assumers here. i guess people need something to be negative about though.

Everyone is grasping at straws, because the silence by the team, DWash and NFL is getting deafening.

The team is not surprising and doesn't mean anything, it's the NFL that's weird. I would t be surprised if someone forgot to sign something or there's some technical issue with his reinstatement request. That's the only legal explanation to the delay, otherwise it's just Goodell being Goodell.

I get the feeling Washington has been moved to storage room B by the NFL.

The logical explanation is the DWash did not do all that is required of him to start the clock on the NFL's response.

I think most here are missing the point. Not reading between the lines. The NFL doesn't have to respond to anything. If he isn't being reinstated, there is nothing to report. That seems to be the sentiment from the coach to the beat writers to the national writers keep alluding to.

When its overboard I agree but I dont blame negative speculation since TC has started and we still know nothing. It makes me less confident anything will ever happen but we will see. I want him back and he is dynamic but even if he doesn't come back, I am not that concerned.

DWash has given us every reason to doubt him and be negative toward him. He has hurt this team with his selfish/stupid choices/actions. He has proven he cannot be trusted or counted on. He deserves all of the assumers and their assumptions or any other verbal/written backlash he gets because of his choices/actions.

If he had done everything required to be reinstated and the NFL simply hadn't responded (aka godell being godell) wouldn't DWash's camp be taking to the media crying fowl? His camps silence speaks volumes

Since his suspension was indefinite it's much ado about nothing until the league decides to lift it. They are not required to tell the media anything.

Exactly. Since no one says anything concrete then fans on the internet have to speculate. No one should be surprised by that and just recognize it for what it is. A lack of information.

It's just odd that DWASTE seems to be getting completely treated different than all others on suspension for similar or worse violations by both the NFL and NFLPA. I've never seen such lack of info in this day and age of social media available.
