This was verbatim from his interview w/ Washington.

What/when was that interview? And since Washington hasn't said a single thing, still wouldn't surprise me if Jureki was making ish up. Reporters do it all the time to drive traffic.

I think the evidence is certainly pointing in the direction that DWASH will never wear a Cards jersey again, and may not ever be seen in the NFL again.

I think the deafening silence from the NFLPA and the Cards themselves speaks volumes - more so than DWASH's own silence...

I don't think that's what he's doing. I think he's weighing in on a story and standing by a source in Washington. I think that Jurecki is going to stand by ans support Washington until he's off the team. Jurecki seems to be the only guy who is getting his texts returns from Daryl.

Jurecki absolutely is the players mouthpiece. He has consistently pushed their agenda in things like contract talks, disputes with coaches, ect...

I have no doubt that if a Cardinals player wanted to be interviewed, they would consider him first.

No the NFLPA has his back.

Also according to Jurecki, the NFLPA has Washington's file. Previously, it was speculated the players association was not supporting Washington. NFLPA attorney Heather McPhee has the Washington file, while NFL Senior VP of labor policy Adolpho Birch is on the other side. It sounds like a court filing could be on the horizon if it hasn't already happened, because of the lack of a ruling.

I don't know what's happening, but given the fact we've learned the NFL is run by incompetent people, it very well might just be circumstantial.

Who knows what's happening, but the NFL owners need to push for a cleaning house of the league office. They are simply incompetent.

Agree. One things for sure, the lack of transparency and the way Goddel and co. handle punishments altogether is really mind boggling.

To be fair, Jess Root has no access and could have no idea about where Washington's file is. He's repeating something that Jurecki said.

People running victory laps over a promising article from March is pretty hilarious. Washington lied about learning his lesson from the previous 4-game suspension. Surely this time we can trust what he's telling us.

Who knows, something stinks, I just can't place where it's coming from, or even confirm that it's coming from only one direction.

This is also sort of a unique situation, not many people are suspended for a year and then get hit with something else, especially domestic violence.

It could be they feel no need to announce a 2nd suspension since he was never reinstated, and they might just tack on whatever they want to tack on, and then lift it when they feel he's served time for both. We may wake up one day sometime during the season to find him reinstated and theoretically available. But that too is just a guess. It would make sense from the NFL's perspective, because then whatever he got for the domestic violence, wouldn't be open to appeal, they could just force it on him.

Doesn't the NFLPA have ALL files of players who are dealing with the league in one way or another? What does this actually mean? And why has the NFLPA not issued some type of public statement in support of Washington?

The consistent theme around this topic is that where things stand today is highly unusual. So much so that it's extremely strange that both the NFLPA and the league have not issued any public statements whatsoever.

Feels to me that one of two things is going on.

1. DWash failed another test.
2. League knows it's going to slam him again on the assault incident, and knowing he won't play for awhile because of it, is dragging their feet to ensure all their ducks are in line before that ruling.

JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED !!!!
I can't remember who said that , but I can see that Roger Goodell's Kangaroo Court is a shining example of what it means . If the owners really want to improve the image of the NFL , they should start with cleaning out the Commissioner's Office !!!!!

Or Dweed is in no hurry to get to training camp. Many vets try and miss as much of camp as possible. Practice is rough, game time is fun....

You hit the nail on the head. He won't be playing for the Cards this season. Cards know this. They gave his number to another player. They also are trying to recover some of his bonus money.

Actually it looks Like DWASH is done with the Cardinals

@mikejurecki 4h4 hours ago
In the last couple of years the Cardinals have paid Daryl Washington 5M each year. Hearing AZ is looking to recover some of his bonus money.

This can't be anything positive
