Amare's always been a big talker, especially now that he's worked on his "tenacious" defence.

Lots of players with expiring contracts behave this way. If there's any doubt he'll get paid I'm sure he'll play like a beast (that word again) and us or some other team will give him a max deal.

Either way the front office has to listen to offers so we can get younger and some day be back in contention. Too bad we never made the finals with Nash & co though.

I would love an Amare for Lee trade. Lee can give rebounding numbers and a double double every night with better D. Amare is a joke on defense and gets killed on the pick and roll. I used to be a huge Amare fan but this guy is not a Championship caliber player. Send him off before he becomes a free agent and get some value back.
