:barf:

Syesha is probably the best looking/most sexy of them all...

Uhm, no barfing please. Syesha not so much, she's...ok. Kristy is way prettier than the rest of the field other than Remiele, who is the best looking of the chicks.

This may have something to do with me growing up around Rodeo Queens in Rockies, but I like that look. But to say that she is barf-worthy tells me you'd be better off with Dick's Cabaret's Finest, David Hernandez.

Ha! I too was very pleased to see David (look at me carrying these kegs under my arms) Hernandez exit...
I really don't see anything attractive about Kristy at all... She's certainly far from ugly, and perhaps not barf-worthy, but definitely not pretty, cute, sexy...

Remiele has a very sex face. But man for a little girl she is wide from the neck down...

Nope - Syesha is the hottest by far!

"very sex face"

LOL...that is awesome. I know you meant sexy, but "sex face" is a great description that includes her awesome eyes and DSLs.

We can agree to disagree on Kristy.

Syesha needs a different hairstyle and I'd be more attracted to her.

Barf-worthy is Roseanne Frankenmeyer...who *might* be cute at some level if she wasn't so horrific at singing and didn't sport a Bride of Frankenstein hairdo. We'll never know.

LMAO! You''re right... Last night, my 6 year old daughter said Syesha's hair is shaped like a "heart"!!

Being from the South I know thousands of girls like Kristy -- pretty, sweet, about as much depth as cardboard.

Syesha's fresh and sexy like mango salsa.

Last night was my first night watching this season. I have to agree this is a very talented group.

I think the country chick is going home. I wasn't impressed with Archuleta at all but it sounded like he just had a bad night from what Simon said?

I point this out every year but I think Simon made a subtle dig at it, people who deserve to stay will go home ahead of Malubay because AI is so popular with Filipinos. You can't believe how popular it is my girlfriend's entire family watches the show religiously, so do all their friends. When we were in Australia we visited some friends of my girlfriends aunt who are Filipino and
within 5 minutes they were asking about the new season of AI and if the Filipino girl made the cut.

Remember in the past Jasmine Trias and another Filipina all stuck around much longer than people expected it's because the show is so popular in that community and they vote as a group. It's kind of a catch 22 for the show the fan involvement is a big reason the show is so popular but it ends up precisely as SImon said last night that it's often a popularity contest
not a talent contest. I think Malubay has a very good voice but she's in over her head in this contest the others are just far more polished.

You are so right. My wife's family always votes for the Filipino chick on the show. First it was Trias. When Trias was the worst one left I asked my mother-in-law what she thought and she basically said "she wasn't good, but I voted for her 10 times" and laughed. The thing is you have to factor in VoteForTheWorst.com and the Filipino vote if the last long enough.

The Filipinos love karaoke and that is why you always see so many Filipino performers popping up as lounge/cruise ship singers. Many have great voices but they just lack charisma and stage presence

Malubay has a great voice but she has a karaoke vibe IMO. Plus she bores me to death with her song choices. Mainly because I don't think she can sing anything but slow songs.

I think Kristi is hot when she doesn't get all made up. She is a natural beauty that doesn't need makeup. Problem is that lately they have been making her up way too much. She needs to keep her hair natural an wavy and lose the makeup.

Also she needs to stop with the country crap.

Remiele is cute but there is something about her hair that bugs me. Man is she short!

Ok, I want David Cook to do his work on "Drive My Car" because he could really make that sound interesting, plus it has a nice little guitar solo he could rock on.

Chikeze could also handle this one, albeit in a different way.

Why? Did you think she would learn her listen after Arista Nashville dropped her the first time?

Right, but she's just a small-town girl overwhelmed by the big LA skyline.

To be fair, she's really only been in Oregon and Dallas (where she went for that record deal). She in no way ever had the exposure she has now, nor is Dallas in any way, shape or form Los Angeles, even for a mediocre talent.

Whatever the deal was, she plays up where she came from like she rode in on the back of a turnip truck and I find it irritating. No idea how much he knows about horses, but my uncle rants and raves how the horse she sold for $5,000 was a $25,000 horse.

I just watched this weeks performances last night. Nothing stood out for me with the exception of Michael Johns. I couldn't believe that the judges didn't like his "Across the Universe."

Well, she'll be gone soon.

It was....ok. It is possibly my favorite Beatles song and I liked his version, it just didn't "wow" me. I'd like to see him do something with more range soon...

I can't believe you didn't like Cook or Carly though.

BTW, I think you are secretly Michael Johns and just held back the Aussie accent when we met. When Johns comes out in a Aaron Francisco jersey, the jig is up.

It was the first performance of his since his first audition that I thought was really good. No, it wasn't a D. Cook "Hello" moment, but I thought it was the best of the night.

I DID like Cook this week, but I wasn't wowed. They called him a darkhorse again, and I don't think he has that status anymore. I think he's a frontrunner, maybe even the odds on favorite after Archuleta showed his age last night.

I didn't like Carly last night. She bugs me. And "come together" is one of my least favorite Beatles songs.

JMHO, mate.

Chikeze was my favorite performance but I felt Carly was the strongest vocal performance. At this point I can't imagine Carly not being in the final 2.

I'm very surprised our Mesa Mormon girl is still around. I didn't think her 70s singer/songwriter stylings would play well with a young audience, but I'm guessing her earnest nature and his piercing blue eyes are maintaining a fan base more than her wispy fast vibrato.

It was the first since Bohemian Rhapsody that I've liked. I thought he was fading fast. I liked it, but not near best, IMO.

Ah, I have no least favorite Beatles songs...and Come Together is one of the higher on my list of awesome.

She's successfully taking on that Jewel aspect that nobody else really has on this show. People like a little bit different. She's not my favorite, but I can see why she's gonna stick around for a bit.

All the singers this year have different styles, like Castro and his folky guitar guy vibe...it is interesting because usually you have less variety in style. Everyone has a bit of "unique" to them this year while in past years I felt a lot of them were kind of the same.
