She looks like she'd annoy me within about 20 seconds of meeting her. That's almost like number one in my book....don't annoy me. Next would be legs and personality.

Plus, she's blonde.....I'm anti blonde.

If you don't like blonde hicks, then I'm guessing about 10 seconds.

1. Chris Daughtery -- Wow. Dude just commands you watch him. Incredible stage presence, fantastic voice. Hands down the best tonight.
2. Elliot -- Jacked up grill and all, this dudes voice is silk. That was some panty-dropping music if you ever could make it...just don't show the girls his mouth. Looks like a shark.
3. Taylor - Not his best performance, and Chris and Elliot will give him a run for his money.
4. Ace - If he sang better, he would have had the 3 spot. My wife noted that if Ace had Elliot's voice, she'd be all over some of that action.
5. Will -- I like this kid, little Matt Leinart. He needed a strong song after last week's mediocre performance, and he did a good job with Lady.
6. Bucky-- Did a bad version of Thunder Rolls, until close to the end when he just let loose and "made it his own." THAT part was amazing, and kept him above the rest. He is below Will simply because the rest of that song was a boring version of Garth's hit.
7. Sway -- I didn't like him last week, this week he did great. Only problem, he sounded almost exactly like the original.
8. Gedeon McKinney -- I just don't like him, he's so plastic. Did ok with this song, but Taylor sang it better in auditions. By a mile.
9. David Crooner -- No thanks, maybe for American Idol 1962
10. Kevin Dorkasaurus Corvais - Please people, stop voting for cute dorky and vote for substance. He has none.

spot on analysis.

i will say that the drawback for Elliot is that he probably can't get his teeth fixed due to the fact that it might change his singing voice.

When I saw Ace in the original tryouts, I though--that guy is going to take his sex appeal to the final-4. I thought the same after I saw him do the George Micheal song last week.

This week he struck my as so much more of a wuss than the last few times I've seen him. Even my wife (who was all hot and bothered by him in previous weeks) said that some of the shine was off his star because of it.

He needs to rebound from that and sing something with a little more balls next week, IMO.

Also, I was dissappointed with Taylor this week. His singing was only okay, and his jumping and whooping schtick didn't seem as genuine and charming as it did last week.

I was kind of disappointed in the entire week... Chris was pretty exciting but the rest left me flat... Kind of blah overall, I mean I think they all can sing pretty well but the overall performances and song choices by both the guys and the gals just didn't so it for me ("you know, Dawg")....

nothing had me thinking, 'OMG that was awesome'... Almost with Chris but that may have been because all of the others were so flat IMO..

My wife and I were saying the exact same thing. It would be the worst career decision ever, get 'em fixed and then can't sing anymore. His voice is ridiculously good. And he kicked the crap out of that song.

Ace is going to become an actor, I'm calling that shot right now.

He reminds me of Joe Millionaire... They said he would be a pretty boy actor too and he just kind of disappeared...

Ace has a lot more charisma, more talent and a large launch platform that is far more legit than Joe Millionaire (whose only talent was really just looking nice).

I tuned in for a couple minutes last night and didn't see the Man Diesel.

This show confuses me.

I just popped Enter the Dragon into the DVD player. Good time.

Mandiesel only sings with the women. They are split right now, men and women (well, boys and girls, since many are under 18), until they get to a top 12 when they mix them together. Mandiesel will most likely make the top 12 in a walk.

Good analysis, D-dogg.

Taylor is getting annoying. Chris is far above the rest.

I think your list is spot on D-Dogg. I actually thought they were very harsh on Sway; prob one of my favs of the night.

I am convinced Giddeon is the lost K-Ci and JoJo brother.

heh

also I found it funny that paula decided to break out the boob accentuators for the male performance last night

I think I may like the show within the show more than the actual competition - either way it's good entertainment

So Chicken Little lives to lisp another day, and Sway, who is a better singer, falls to the dork's weird appeal.

Chicken Little fans are now going to be all "The Sky is Falling!!" and the pasty lispy dork is going to get in the top 6, knocking off someone who can actually sing.

I'm telling you, if Brenna hadn't been voted off I'd be damn angry right now.
