Anybody Want Keyshawn?

The Bucs are talking to a few teams about trading WR Keyshawn Johnson.

Are we one of them?

Personally I think he's a jerk but jerks can become heroes when they're on your team.

While I think Keyshawn is a goofball, I would take him...however I would not trade for him. The Bucs have committed to releasing him if they cannot trade him so I would sit tight, and if no trade was done and he got cut, I may take a stab at him...but only for a low $$$ contract. I am not going to absorb the contract the Bucs gave him.

I think Green could change Meshawn's attitude a little, by using him alot more then TB did. Much like the way he had Carter/Moss and Jake Reed all co existing. I wouldn't mind picking him up.

I'd love to have him on the team, but he's no longer the speed receiver he used to be and woulnd't want to sacrifice anyhting in a trade. He still has great hands, runs pretty good routes and is one of the best blocking WRs in the league. It's a shame they weren't looking to trade him last year--we could have given them TJ.

Yeah, Keyshawn has a mouth, but he never takes plays off and it seems he is generally a good teammate. I'm not exactly sure why there's all the hate for the guy. He may be cocky, but that's hardly a reason to not want a guy who can help your squad.

Johnson never had speed in the first place. He runs good routes and good hands and great blocker but he lacks speed.
