Looking at a 2015-2016 type season if Alkins and Trier don't come back. Duval or McCoy look like long shots. Scary times. Miller needs to bust his ass

Trier confirms he's coming back won't test waters.
This probably means Bowen is not coming to AZ but they were similar players anyway and you side with experience. If Miller can either land transfer Cam Johnson or can get Rawle back they'll steamroll the PAC next year.
UCLA and Oregon reportedly now involved with Cam Johnson. It would seem unlikely for UA if Alkins comes back. Oregon and UCLA much more immediate PT available. Saw him play once, good shooter, immediately eligible, 2 years so interesting but UCLA has trouble getting grad transfers in so Oregon would seem more likely. Visited illinois but the feeling is he wants to "upgrade" and Arizona, Oregon and UCLA make more sense in that regard.
Johnson's dad played with Miller in college. Maybe it gets them a foot further in the door. He was also coached by Calipari as well.
He'd be a big pickup for anyone.
USC is suddenly looking pretty interesting with Metu coming back. it still looks like Boatwright might leave but if Stewart comes back they could be right there with UA as favorites next year.
Duke transfer Derryck Thornton is also coming in. If Rawle/Chance stay in the draft and Cam Johnson goes elsewhere SC might be the favorites.
Trier's coming back? I'm stunned and elated. Looking forward to next season. That's a massive piece of the puzzle to build around.
So if Alkins bolts does that help with Bowen or is he really considering Creighton?
Alkins loss hurts. I thought he could make himself a superstar with another year. Maybe become a top 5-10 pick in next year's draft.
McCoy to UNLV over Oregon.
Unless Oregon makes a late run at some recruits or gets transfers of consequence, they're a fringe tournament team at best
