I have no doubt they think they're set at OL. And that is disturbing indeed.
We need an RG & that is it other than maybe upgrading the depth some. We are set at LT, LG, C, & RT. Unless you don't consider Beachum to be a starter at RT I believe we are good for the most part.

Dude - I want whatever you’re smokin’ !!! Lol did you see our oline against anyone relevant last year in the last 10 games of the season ? The turnovers we created on defense the first 7 games hid so many deficiencies

Man… we really ain’t doing jack squat as far as legitimately adding to the team to try and get better or even plugging up major holes left by FA defections.

I guess that’s one way to go after a humiliating end to the season.

Cardinals just aren’t like any other organization. Billy was a cheapskate and Michael believes he knows far more than he actually does. Can’t get it right.

We need a RG and badly need quality depth, yes. That doesn't equate to us being "good" for the most part. That translates to us needing to add a starter and a few near-starter quality players. Add that need to desperate needs at WR, DT (more than 1), Edge, and CB, and we are in awful roster shape.

I see a lot of talk about WR's and Guards.

By far my biggest concern at the moment is pass rush. The FA market is pretty barren and I think all the guys we all like are gone by #23 except Ojabo. Which isn't much use to us next season.

Yep. Further devaluing the player I have little faith in.

Rondale Moore is going to have a good year. If he stays healthy.

Kid has a chip on his shoulder and a great work ethic. If Kliff uses him correctly I expect him to replace Kirk comfortably.

I mean, I hope that's the case. I don't expect it, but that would be awesome.

Oh, that's a massive hole too. As I see the focus on the offense, and with the offense needing to carry the team, I've been emphasizing those holes. Edge is a big problem, though. I'd probably rank them as WR, Edge, and OG, DT, CB, in that order. And that's just in starters; depth is another matter.

Pure optimism right now
Didn't see much to consider him a huge asset for this offense

Stout, here’s the deal.

Keim does not see the o-line as a problem. Apparently he believes the remaining holes will be filled through the draft and 3rd tier Journeymen from the Dollar Tree store.

I can’t believe he didn’t go after a Wr in FA. I truly think we will use our first pick on a WR now. The sad thing is that WON’T be enough. The clichés:
*He has to develop chemistry with Kyler.
*He will be great when he learns the route tree.
*Just wait until he learns the pro game.
I’m fine with drafting a Wr. But Hopkins , Moore, rookie, Wesley isn’t nearly enough. Even a guy like Scantling would help. Speed and size.
Keim knows he can’t fill all the holes HE created with crap drafts. shoddy free agent signings and poor cap management.

That we haven't signed a FA wideout yet doesn't mean they haven't been in negotiation, unless you're privy to info we are not.

No, he's not smoking anything with that observation, but both of you are right because having a legit guard is huge. Again, a Oline is only as good as their weakest link. I remember at the season's end the Cards said something to the effect they expect big things from the young guy we had drafted, which made me go "No!"... that seems to me that they are content and frankly I am not

Yes. I am friends with Keim. Well I use to be but he sucks now.
I don’t have privy info. But if there were negotiations going on we’d hear about it. Do you really think a players agent isn’t going to leak that type of info? Are you naive?

There are literally hundreds of negotiations going on right now that you and I know nothing of: Don't you pay attention?

Twitter is full of announced signings without any pre-posts indicating that player X was in negotiation with team Y.

It's not pure optimism. More analysis.

He had 38 YPG through 11 weeks as WR4 playing only 47% of snaps. Before the wheels fell off the offense and he got banged up. Without the injury and the drop off that would have been 650 as WR4 on less than half the available snaps.

He actually had slightly better yards per snap than Kirk. If he gets Kirks 76% share that would equate to just over 1000 yards.

And that's with a route tree smaller than he is. With an expanded route tree he should be able to up his YPC. It will be much easier for him when defenses don't know if he's going to burn them off the LOS or stay under for the gadget play he's been running mostly so far.

Obviously not that simple, he's going to pick up better coverage as WR3 and various other factors but I think he's well capable of getting 800-850 yards.

Everyone can;t keep saying we need to play and develop our draft picks more but only feel comfortable doing so if they are Justin Jefferson or Jamar Chase. The vast, vast majority of rookies have poor to average first years. Probably less than 10% fly out of the gates.
