This isn't going to make alot of people happy... But I think Vernon Davis makes too much sense here.

You're absolutely right. They took a QB last year....they have to give him a weapon.

The first real wild card in the draft. They have needs just about everywhere but most likely will pick either an offensive weapon (ie Davis or possibly even a RB) or someone to help their secondary.

Right now I'd say Davis but that could change.

I picked Huff but could really see them trading down. Vikings could give them their first and two second round picks and take Cutler.

The 49ers SEEM to be pretty happy with Frank Gore.

Regardless, they desperately need playmakers on offense and behind Bush, Davis is regarded as the next best non-QB playmaker on the board here.

As Redz said, it makes too much sense for them to take Vernon.
