No, I mean Milos Vujanic, from Serbia-Montenegro. The Suns got his rights from the Knicks in the Marbury/Hardaway trade. The unlikelihood of his joining the Suns has been a running joke on this board ever since, but maybe there's still a chance.

I think it was his MCL that he blew out, but he should be healed by now, or close anyway. I think the Suns still have his rights, but I could be wrong.

Which knee injury are you talking about ? The first (right knee in may 2005 IIRC) or the second one ?
Last time I've heard of him he had blown his left knee and broke his meniscus in late december. Out for 9 months. I guess we'll never hear of him anymore, excepted if the Suns trade his rights.

First of all Jason Kidd is missing on that list and 2nd of all Steve Nash is the best playmaker at the 1 as well, that's why he is the best PG on the league.

What about a trade for a young guy like a Travis Deiner who showed talent in college but isn't necessarly highly regarded. I think a guy like that could show a lot in Coach D's system. This team needs a young guy this coaching staff can mold into Nash's successor.

Don't even get me started on Deiner...... I watched him a ton in Vegas - and the kid really impressed me. I have been pushing for a trade for him for a long time now..

How about a trade between Phoenix and Blazers of Barbosa (resigned) and Telfair. The Blazers are looking to do a major overhaul this summer. If they also can ship out Randolph and Ratliff, maybe we could add in KT, Jones and #21 for Przybilla (resigned), Kryapa and #30. That would save us in excess of #5.6 mil. Or maybe something like Stephen Jackson, Jeff Foster, Jasikevicious, Pacers #17 pick this year and their #1 next year for Marion and the Suns #21 this year.

Is Jasikevicius supposed to be the centerpiece of this deal? He's already 30 years old, isn't really a PG, and spent all last season demonstrating that he isn't going to adapt well to the NBA game. No thank you. Jackson can't shoot and Foster can't run, so they're no help either.
I'd be surprised if the Blazers would give up on Telfair, but he is at least intriguing.

I can't stand Stephen Jackson. I'm not sure why, but I think he is a punk. Now that I think about it, I don't like any player that has corn rows.

I've been watching Khryapa play for Portland this year and I'm thinking he would be a perfect big man for Phoenix. I do not see Portland letting him go, because I'm sure they see his upside as well. He may be listed as a SF but I believe he could play the 4/5 for Phoenix.
I would even like to pry a PG out of Portland.

As odd as it sounds I think Telfair is the odd man out because of his style, the same attribute that makes him interesting to the Suns way of thinking. He is too fast and flashy for the slow, deliberate, and defense oriented style of McMillan. McMillan is going to keep the coaching job I'd bet after the ownership change and I sincerely believe the new owners will be better in being consistent with coach and strategy.
Randolph and Miles are both demanding out but I dearly hope the Suns aren't tempted by them as they are immature louts.
Telfair still doesn't have a consistent outside shot but his game is sure fun to wathc at least (though stifled by McMillan). McMillan didn't give Telfair nearly as consistent of minutes as Blake or Jack or even Dixon (playing at point) from what I could tell from boxscores.
Khryapa is still young and inconsistent from what I've seen (though not in his effort) but from the games I've watched he looks like he has the potential to be one of those rangy, do anything players like Diaw or Kirilenko. I doubt they'd let him go.
I doubt any player on the Blazers is untouchable by any means but I don't see them ditching Khryapa, Blake, Ratliff or Dixon as they were the more consistent contributors. I doubt they'd trade Webster either because it'd be silly to give up on a high draft pick before his rookie contract is up.
I've moved alot in life and started being a Suns fan at age 10 in Litchfield but I've spent most of my years in the NW and consider it home so I'm a little ashamed to be only a fairweather Blazer fan though I adamantly cheer on the improvements this summer could bring. There's something about just seeing a player in Suns uniform that makes me automatically want to give them a shot (or a few).

I vote for Speedy Claxton. Don't know if we can get him for the veteran's minimum, though. Would Tim Thomas be willing to re-sign for a portion of the MLE to allow us to give the rest to Speedy?

I expect one of the PG's will get moved from Portland: Telfair, Dixon, Blake, and Jack. Telfair did not put up very good stats last season, but he might flourish in the Suns system.
Another guy that might be worth taking a look at is Jarret Jack. He's not as flashy as Telfair, but at 6'3" 202 his much bigger which could help on the defensive end.
BTW, the Suns still have the remaining part of their trade exemption from the JJ deal, so this could be a picks for player deal.

Khryapa is the Blazer I covet for his attitude, activity and strength. He seemed to brush aside any of our frontcourt players when a rebound was at issue. In one of the games against us he even shot well but doesn't seem yet to be consistent as a shooter.
