Ok, I just finished season 2 (2.5). Am I missing something with the last episode? Lee is angry at Kara. Is it the obvious, because of Samuel. Or is there something else that will be explained when I start watching Season 3?
No, I think it's rather obvious. The backstory told us exactly what's up, and now we know why there's been all that tension. How much you wanna bet both Anders and whassername get killed in the opener? Actually, I hope not...that would be waaay too campy.
I had hoped the show was going to come out sooner than later.Moving a show to Sunday nights might at first glance appear to be an act of desperation, but SciFi Channel is expected to officially give the greenlight to a fourth season of "Battlestar Galactica," possibly even before the show makes its Sunday night debut on Jan. 21.
The "Battlestar Galactica" prequel spinoff "Caprica," however, may not be getting the same good news.
"Anyone expecting to see 'Caprica' before 2008 is fooling themselves," a SciFi Channel source told SyFy Portal. "There is still quite a bit to be worked out."
i meant before now, like the first half of season 3 that already happened, assuming he was on season 2
And that's what I thought. It's just that the last personal interaction that Lee and Kara have is when Anders and Kara are drinking and having a good time in the bunks. Lee walks in to meet Anders and Kara gets up and hugs him. There is interaction between Kara and Anders that leaves Lee butthurt. Kara does say something to the effect of, "You're STILL fracking Dualla?", but they seperate "friends". Next time you see them interact, Kara is on New Caprica trying to gets meds for Anders' pnuemonia. She calls Lee and when he gets on the radio he says, "What do you want?"Yeah, it's the same thing. Remember, the affair/marriage thing happened at the end of season 2, so it's driving the tension all of season 3.
I do believe I saw my 'angels' in this episode. The writers aren't holding everything the same as the original series but they are trying to use many of the elements from it.
Yep. It seems they are trying to bring the spiritual elements into the series without over doing it and it coming out campy like in the original.
The only thing that worries me about the show is recent comments by RM. I know he has taking some liberties with the show but I think die hard BSG fans can only take so much.
Personally I would like to see an epsiode where they bring some old Cylons out of storage for a battle or something. How cool would that be?
Just a few more episodes and BSG should find the Prince of Darkness (Count Iblis). I have a bad feeling about Starbuck (i.e. campy 'destiny' line she spewed in the episode!!)
Something is up there. If they write her off the show, something tells me it was more then "We want to shock the audience". That's crud because RM has always talked about not insulting the BSG fans by destroying the core of the show. Last time I checked Starbuck is at the core of the show. There is something we don't know.
Some of RM changes I have liked and some I have hated. So for me it's been a mixed bag and if not for the great stories I probably wouldn't have liked the show. I really really want them to bring in the old Cylons at some point in the show.
There have been some cheesy moments for me but overall I really enjoy the show. I've gotten over the Starbuck and Boomer being women thing. I really think they need to get Dirk Benedict to cameo for a couple episodes. I could have sworn there was an episode with a flashback and they had a Mk I cylon centurion... Then again probably not.
That would be tough, as he's dead I bet they would have if he were still alive.
Interesting considering atthis site it shows that he has two works due out in 2007 and that he joined a celebrity big brother in january 2007 at the bottom of the page?

I think they had an old Centurion in the pilot.
In the guise of a museum or display piece if I remember right.
What?? I don't remember that. I will have to watch it again. That still doesn't cut it for me though. I want to see an episode with the old Cylons in action.
I don't think that would make much sense. It would be like making a WWIII movie and having an old WWI tank in it. I could see them bringin one or a few in for some cameo shots, maybe in a comedic way, but that's about it.
Well they could do something along the lines of a Cylon mk1 centurion on a abandoned planet outpost and have a little firefight. Of course if they were going to do that IMO they would have had to do it already.
I have to think at some point the writers could introduce a planet inhabited by human. The last few episodes of the original series had the whole Eastern Alliance crap. They could throw it into the story line as a group of the 13 tribe decided on staying put on a habitable planet. Throw some temples in for good measure and we are making bacon!!!

They should have never went with the new cylon models. They suck and are one of the few things I dont like about the show! The older models were freaking awesome and they talked. There voices were cool as hell.
The other thing I dont like is how advanced they are yet they use basic bullets as weaponry.
