I can't agree on the first part. The old Cylons were incredibly cheesy and campy, yet perfect for the original show. The new ones, IMO, are far more menacing and fit with the modern show. I would like to hear a good 'by your command', though.

"By your command" from the lips of Six'es mouth is music to my ears!!!!

For me part of the cheesiness came from how they utilized them originally. Also every time I see a new one they come of cheesy too because the CGI is poor and unbelievable for me. That kind of kills it for me.

OK, is anbody else a little tire of the Apollo Starbuch storyline? I mean first Apolla loves Dee then love Starbuck then love Dee then loves Starbuck. OMG enough already! Just pick one and get on with it MAN!

If it wasn't for the entire Baltar toture stuff the episode would have been a complete waste.

I thought they were able to close out that Apollo/Starbuck story pretty well. Instead of complaining you should be glad they seem to have brought a little closure to it.

Yeah, I agree...and I'm sort of glad it ended in an unexpected way. You'd figure they'd just end up together.

I loved the episode though...the torture of Baltar was awesome and brutal. And the good guys found out some info about the Final 5.

Ummm.. that's exactly what I was complaining about. I should be glad??? I would have been glad had they wrapped that up 2 episodes ago. I wasn't concerned as much with closure as the writers moving on already. I thought it was predictable outcome. For so many reasons it wouldn't make sense for their characters.

The rest of the last episode was great though. The torture of Baltar was great and I think it's safe to say that there are very few lines that PR and AA won't cross to achieve their goal of finding earth and stopping the Cylons. Next episode looks good.

BSG theory

Gaeta is a cylone!!!

That is all....

That's a good thoery. I think having Baltar really be a Cylon is too obvious. Aside from PR or AA being a Cylon (which I don't think they are), I could see that being a good theory considering how one of the last 5 was easily recognized.

If anyone had HD, this current season is now being showed on UHD...which is awesome.

I may stop watching on Sci-Fi and wait until UHD catches up. Seeing it in HD is just amazing.

Last night's episode was the one where they escape New Caprica. Amazing...brings tears to my eyes...Saul killing his wife, the battle, Galactica jumping into the atmo...the end...just the perfect episode. Has to be my favorite of all-time.

Watching them in HD is great. The picture really is that much better.

OK. Last episode was really boring. Is it me or is the show losing some of it's momentum?

I think we are seeing filler episodes which sucks! The episode was pretty good but there needs some more butt whoopin!!!

Out with the old (Cylon's), in with the new (Eastern Alliance) perhaps??

Doubt it because those episodes were really corny. But I would think the 13th tribe would leave reminant settlers on other planets. You know the peoples that said F' it, I'm staying right here cuz' I'm tired of living on that crappy ship!!! I mean they did spend some time on the planet to create the 'temple of five' and the 'eye of jupiter'.

Man, this show had better pick back up, because it's really starting to frakking lag. Filler episodes like this can be a lot of fun, sprinkled throughout a season. This is, what, our 3rd filler episode in a row? Ugh. It got picked up for a 4th season, but I don't know if it can honestly last that long, the way it's heading.

Yeah they have been kind of slow but I'm OK with that. They are still interesting and build further upon the characters. I agree that some spice wouldn't hurt but I still think it is one of the best shows on TV.

It's losing its luster fast. Even last week I was all right with it, figuring the writing would pick up and the plot would advance. Then we get this week, and nada, zilch. It's like they're treading water (the writers) and just have no clue where to go next. Hopefully they'll get out of the funk soon.

They are starting to tread on new ground here. We are getting to the point were the writers have to make up new content and no longer have to be true to the original series. This could explain why these last few and probably the next one are fillers.

Hopefully the finally will get us all back on track...

I don't buy it. I would like to think that, given 2+ seasons to think and plan that they would have come up with something by now. I mean, if the writers cannot transition from the period where they mined the old shows to actually coming up with it themselves, then the show will die.
