There's only one Bears scenario that is detrimental to us and that's if they trade with the Patriots and move back to 3. Then they might take MHJ.

Anything else involves a QB going.

Pats getting QB in free agency is the other worst case scenario imho

Just saw Sports Illustrated's first mock today. It had CHI taking Williams at 1 and WAS taking Maye at 2.

NE takes MJH at 3 and we take somebody named "Alt" at 4.

Nah man...schools regularly over report player size. At the combine it's likely we find out Malik is only 5'10"

Seriously DRC... I find it really super duper hard to believe that the Pats are going to roll with either Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe. They are both terrible (I can post their stats if you want)! It's 100% a QB driven league, and those two guys are driving NE to asstown.

In fact, I think it's pretty much impossible this offseason NE does not try to upgrade their QB position.

It's pretty hard to get your QBOTF via FA, so I think NE will take one of the three QBs, probably Daniels.

On the tackle side there are a few options.

Onwenu immediately jumps out at me. He can play tackle or guard, which is important if you remotely believe DJ will come back this year or next. Everything says he won't be back to the Patriots and he is young.

I also love Jonah Williams though he will want to be a LT and that is fine.

Even a flyer on Mekhi Beckton is a good pre draft option that limits the need to take a tackle.

If we sign no one we are 100% taking a tackle round 1.
