The only thing? Really? Give me a break.

DevonCardsFan has been saying it's happening because he's listening to sports radio and twitter. Huh? Come on.
Okay make that my “primary” concern. His percentages are also a concern, but his percentages prior to last year were acceptable and point me in the direction of the volume of rookies who shoot well. His form doesn’t bother me in and of itself. Others with terrible form have shot well enough. If he can raise those numbers consistently he’s going to be a star. Good defender, potentially great distributor, and potentially great (for a pg) rebounder. I think it’s a worthwhile gamble. You don’t. But it’s far from the hyperbole you’re throwing around.

Why do you people want Ball? Has everyone but three or four of us here lost their damn mind?

Have you seen what we have at PG? Would you prefer we invest 12-15 mil per year on a worse shooter than Ball?

There is a reason that Ball was a top 2 pick - on top of that, he's show some real improvement as a defender.

Having a PG that is an excellent distributor and defender with our current young core seems like a good move, especially if the only cost is the Deng contract.

Outside of his family, what are your objections?

so it's not the greatest sort of backup for the theory that "McD tanked for Ball".

Well Bickley just said the Suns tanked for Ball, did you miss that? Thats where that came from, I take it you dont have the show on LOL

your trade doesnt work, San antonio would take an expiring contract

You must be registered for see images attach

That trade doesn't work because it lists salaries for the 2017-18 season. The Lakers have no cap space until the clock rolls over. You're using outdated information.

You really want to get into personal insults. Can we disagree with things without being children? Ouchie is going that route too, and if you really want to, you can. But honestly, if the Lakers want to rid themselves of Deng's contract, (which, of course they do), they could package him with other players as well, not just Ball.

McD had interest in Ball last year, doesn't mean he has interest in him this year. If Ball didn't have his psycho family, I'd definitely have interest in him, especially if we don't have to give up much. But I've been around this league a long time, and don't believe everything I read. Hell, even Kuzma himself is laughing at the fools putting out twitter rumors.
Getting personal? YOURE THE ONE THAT SAID POSTERS WERE EMBARRASSING!!! Yo Pot!

Bickley is one the best you kidding me?

Bickley is terrible. He really sucks when it comes to basketball stuff. His ideas are always out there and unrealistic. He's one of the few reporters I've seen actually try saying the Suns could sign Lebron. That's fine for fans to sort of theorize but when he writes articles that end up in the AZ Republic like that, it reflects poorly on Suns fans.

What’s the word?
The word is that Greg Esposito tweeted out a vague message about a big move happening this morning, and all it was was his announcement that he was writing for Bright Side of the Suns.

There was another tweet regarding Lebron but it was posted by a guy with only 200 followers with probably no real knowledge of anything.

I like Bickley. I like most of the local radio guys but unlike all of them Bickley isn't a blind homer. I respect that about him. It's refreshing. I can see how that might rub the locals the wrong way when he lays out a realistic take.

Nothing but Suns fans going back and forth on Ball's value when there hasn't been any movement on a deal that would even land him here. At least there's been no reported movement.

Bickley also said he has the feeling and would not be surprised if Lonzo Ball became a Sun this week

Rumors are that neither Lebron nor Pop want anything to do with Lonzo and family.
yes, Lebron, Pop, and Magic's probably seen the light.

Lonzo's been thoroughly discussed and roasted here
it doesn't matter how well he passes if he can't shoot, even from the free throw line, in the playoffs at crunch time when Pop starts executing hack-a-Ball

Lavar wouldn't let his boy stay here long anyway.

I just feel like Love is deteriorating quickly.

you got that right. reminds me of several star players the Suns picked up just in time for their decline

i thought Love was mostly a liability over the last 3 playoffs

On topic: I'm not a fan of adding Ball to this roster...or Kevin Love. Suns don't need a circus in the media hovering over this roster. I just feel like Love is deteriorating quickly.

I'd rather add Love than Ball. Not only do I think the price would be lower I think he'd actually help the team more. I know Ball is a PG but the media distractions and potential chemistry issues are too great to ignore with Ball. It's a possibility he'd work out but if I'm being honest I'd rather gamble signing Rondo than roll the dice with Ball. We could move on from Rondo much easier than Lonzo if it doesn't work. I know he's older but we can develop Okobo behind him or keep shopping for someone else.

Love fills a hole in our frontcourt and brings championship experience. If he came in and played his role he could help rebuild his reputation and build his legacy a little bit. He's not a Hall of Famer right now but if he helped the Suns turn around and was a piece of a contending team here, who knows. He doesn't risk anything coming here and joining a young team on an upswing. He could also show he's capable of doing a lot more than Lebron allowed in Cleveland. I don't expect the Wolves version of Kevin Love but he'd be playing PF primarily, mentoring Bender and Ayton, and be a solid pick and roll partner for Booker.

It does worry me a little about the idea of adding Love could be Gugliotta 2.0. You saying that made me feel like actually putting it out there. I hope he would do a lot more for us than that but it's definitely a concern. I think our training staff could help Love regain some of the bounce he had in Minnesota.
