Would you guys say we shored our Offensive Line up somewhat? I think our biggest need is wide receiver... I really hope one of the better receivers fall to the top of the second so we can pick them..

The Cards need a better rush option opposite Jones. You can trade for or get WRs through FA, but you get rushers through the draft. Look what KC paid for Clark.

Do you see any viable options for us round 2 or later?

If you look at any of the draft rankings on different sites, the best rushers would be gone by the time we pick at #33 but some of the top receivers would be there. But of course if we take Bosa in round one it really wouldn't matter.

We have a series of roster-holes, with needs ranging from "Meh" to "WTF!" (We each have our own assessments - I'd include our OL in the WTF category but maybe our recent FA additions will change that).

My top three priorities would be: OL, WR and ILB, but not necessarily in that order (There's enough draft talent in the first three rounds to allow us to draft BPA among these positions and not be forced to target specific players in any special order). We could also use another major upgrade at TE, but I'm not sure the available talent is there.

In all three priorities, i'd be looking for at least one "dominant trait" (i.e. the pass rusher who can fly parallel to the ground to the passer; the 6-3 WR who'll win most jump-ball battles; the OG or C who can consistently move his man 3+ yards off the ball.

I agree that we could use two more high-level WR's to provide enough depth at an impact position.

The one factor that can wreck the above strategy is the dude at a position we're OK at, who's so good that he can blow up the way that position is played. (Q Williams and Oliver kind of fit that mold. So too might Murray (if he can deliver on expectations).

I expect a TE or WR with pick 33 unless a top olineman is still on the board.
I prefer a TE honestly since the draft is so deep at WR but only really three deep at TE for guys who make an immediate impact.

I really wish there were more top rated talent along the oline in this draft...even with 18 guys on the roster we need help there

I would be pretty pissed if we don’t go heavier on OL than WR but WR is flashier and it’s hard to pass on elite athletes.

Our OL is still trash. ILB is very bad and thin, also.

It might not work out...all physical metrics in the NFL say no... but I will lose my crap if we get Murray and Hollywood.

I’m good with drafting nothing but offensive lineman and WR’s.

Well we don’t need more picks with 10 - yes wr - but I still say we have top talent in key core positions - and we are primed to go worse to first with decent coaching

If that happens, even if Murray fails and Hollywood's foot injury becomes a deciding factor... you know before all is said and done there will still be at least three cornerbacks in the NFL which will be on the stupid side of a ESPN highlight reel with this duo lol

I hope we get Harry. He may not end up being as good as Fitz, but I think he will be as liked right up there with Fitz. Hometown kid that from what I've seen of him seems like a class act.

We already have 20 o lineman on the roster.

I expect 1 project in the 7th.

Dline and WR are likely to be our early picks.
