For Vrabel that Chicago job might be good.. could get da bears back to their roots... Monsters of the Midway ... Black and Blue division...all that... Vrabel would be a good fit for that

They're keeping Antonio Pierce on. What a weird franchise.
Agree... I was surprised... If Al was still alive the moment a player tried to dictate who the coach was...coach would have been fired and the player would have been traded..

Last 2 openings are Seahawks and Commanders.

Seahawks - Dan Quinn
Commanders - Ben Johnson

Seems like the Commanders got the hottest candidate on the market - they are really trying to change things within organization.
New GM, HC, and rookie QB.
I am looking forward to the new name as well (my wife is a life long fan).

This years Jonathan Gannon, no one was pursuing him last year either. Question is did they tamper before hiring him? :sarcasm:
Last year there were only 5 openings...Gannon was interviewed for 2 and Broncos had requested, but hired Payton before the interview.

Surprised he's staying away from Washington. They have a decent nucleus of young talent on the offensive side of the ball and can draft their QB at 2. Plus, their new owner seems like a guy willing to spend to win.
