I honestly aint feeling Tragic or Welfair. I can't believe Phx is in a point guard slump, maybe the Mayans were right. :p

I'm pretty sure I disagree with you but I need a little translator help to be certain. Are you saying you don't like the play of Dragic or Telfair? If that's the case I'd have to ask you how many games you've watched this season. Dragic looked uninspired out there tonight (maybe sick?) but he's been tremendous this season. Telfair has had his moments and he plays good defense all the time so for a backup PG he's somewhere between okay and great.

I'm glad Ann Meyers is assisting Steve Albert because at times, it appears he does not have a clue.

"At times"? Albert is awful. He might be the worst play-by-play guy I've ever heard, for any team in any sport. It's hard to believe how bad he is.

I hate myself for feeling this way, but after listening to Albert several times this year, I really miss Leander.

Yamon, I've watched the games. Is point guard our strong suit? They both have their moments but neither are the future, not ring winning material. Tremendous makes me think you broke into my stash.

Dragic is the Suns guard for the now and the future. And he's been terrific this season.

Name me 3 point guards that have clearly outplayed Goran this season. I don't think that can be done. Dragic has been the best player on a bad team. It's hard to tell how that would translate to a winning team but he's had more than just moments.

He has skills, but gets overmatched on defense the same way Nash did. And he doesn't have the skills to dominate because of it, thus...no MVP. Tragic will get swallowed up against better teams.

You gotta point, but I disagree homie. Not the best player by far, I got him ranked about 4th if it's like that.

I am sorry, but that's just silly. Dragic is an outstanding defender.

As far as starting PGs go, Dragic is near the top of that list. Telfair is actually a very solid backup.

We'll see how the Suns end up this year with Tragic at the helm. If he is such an A lister, with Duds, Gortat, O'neal, Shannon, we are in the play offs right?

I am fairly certain that replacing Dragic with any PG in the league would not make the Suns a playoff team.

Leander may not be great at play by play guy with all his corny catch phrases, but you could tell he studied the game and put effort into knowing what's going on around the league. Albert meanwhile is having a hard time following what's going on in the game he's calling and he doesn't seem to have a clear understanding on the rules. I'm trying to give Albert the benefit since I think it's been 20 years since he's called basketball games, but inaccurate play by play seems to annoy me a great deal more than corny catch phrases.

4th? 4th??? Not possible. You couldn't possibly have watched all our games and ranked him 4th on this team. He's been the best player on this team. Period. Gortat has had some great games but he's had several clunkers too. There just isn't anyone else in the conversation, AFAIC.

Actually, I thought Leander did a very good job despite his annoying catch phrases. I never joined the bash Tom club because his comments were accurate and timely - I've heard some bad announcers through the years. With league pass it seemed like I got the opponent broadcast team more often than not. Now, you usually have an option but that wasn't always the case.

That's a different conversation. I've offered no opinion as to who will be our best player, we've been talking about this season to this pont.

Nash for starters, Chris Paul, I aint gonna continue.

You shouldn't have bothered starting, the supporting cast on the current Suns is inferior to the ones Nash failed to take to the playoffs the 2 previous seasons.

Paul would improve this team. Nash would improve this team but only as a backup to both guard spots. Remember that guy who blindly attacked Gortat and kept telling us that Lopez was outplaying him. On this subject, you're starting to sound a lot like him. Dragic has played at a very high level this season. I don't know that it will continue but he's been giving us some of the best guard play we've seen since the MVP years.

That's not true.

Good argument, I'd expect no less from someone who thinks the Lakers would be better off with Gortat instead of Howard or that Dragic hasn't been the Suns best player this year.
