Certain hall of famer in my opinion

Pursuing his heart, his passion, just like he did on the football field. Good for him.

Rotoworld suggests its because the Bills traded away their top two receievers and CB and he decided it wasnt worth it.

Rotoworld also says they wouldnt he surprised if he resurfaced with another team.

Can he retire and then sign elsewhere? Bills own his rights now right?

Ive been wondering for a while why Cards dont sign him and let him retire here with Larry after the season. Cards could honestly use him too...

Not only is he a grown ass man. He was one of the most beloved players of the last generation. I will never let one drive undo what he did for this franchise.

We have had three NFL Men of the year in the past 10 years and he is one of them. #Respect

Good luck to you Anquan.

Caught a glimpse of the Bills preseason game the other night and I actually thought to myself that Q looked disinterested... I chalked it up to it being a preseason game, but, seems there was more to it than that...

He does great work for charity and he's going to continue that. We should all strive to be like that.

My favorite Cardinal. From the way he was drafted to the effort he displayed. Culture change can be traced back to his arrival.

This HAS to be part of it. Why sign and then turn around and retire? It doesnt make sense.

I have mixed feelings about Boldin. Now that he's done playing it's time to let it go.

Great career! I'll never forget his 200+ yard debut against the Lions :shocker:

I wonder is he & management can forget how bad it ended between the 2 in AZ & put his name in the ROH? Hmmmm

What's the over/under on one day contract with AZ to retire a card?

I'd say 35% based on departure condition.

Q probably doesn't think his tenure here defines him, honestly. He played 3 playoff games here and scored 1 TD and make little impact. He played 8 playoff games in B-more and won a Super Bowl there.

I doubt he has much love for the Cards' front office. They did not part on good terms. The Cards have consistently undervalued leadership. It's one of the reasons this team floundered so long. The Cards were a weaker team the minute they let him go. The Cards were afraid of locking up too many dollars in their WRs, so he became expendable. If they kept him I think they'd have seen the playoffs a little more often.

It was the right move letting him go. Boldin wasn't a saint he was very jealous of Fitz and wanted Fitz money. He chose to leave its on him

Didn't he pull a Hammy on the TD? And he was the target on the Harrison INT.

Too bad. The guy was a Demon Beast for us.
