Best Show on TV.

EVER.

seriously... no other show has ever shaken me, disturbed me or entertained me like this show has.

I mean, Ted kicking the bucket... that scene alone was out of this world ridiculously awesome... then everything else in the last act? Good lord.

How I feel right now? This must've been what the early Greeks felt like when they saw the first play.

lol.

seriously, on some other Bad message boards, people complained that the season was too slow. i think it's been built perfectly, just slowly boiling till that whistle starts screaming like it did last night.

just jaw-droppingly good ****. this is really going above and beyond TV, reaching all-time great story-telling in any genre of any type of entertainment medium as far as I'm concerned. can't wait to see where it keeps going.

Here comes Heisenberg. Is Ted dead? His finger twitched.

I say no way. If he was dead it would be too clean of a break. The threat of him possibly making a good enough recovery to tell the police about Skyler has got to hang over their head.

Hilarious scene though. Especially with the foreshadowing of that trip at the beginning.

Good catch on the carpet trip. Didn't think of it.

BTW, did they bring back Jesse's girlfriend and son to make Jesse vulnerable? Gus threatened to kill Walter's family, so he could do the same to Jesse if he needs to.

BTW what kind of name is Gustavo Fring? Is that the German/Chile/ connection?

too clean of a break? you don't think there's going to be any questions surrounding a dead guy who sent a 600K check after he was dead? i think that sets them up to be even more screwed down the line.

So what is going to happen with Mike? I don't think Gus survives the season. If he does he will be dead by episode 2 of next season. Does Mike kill Gus? Does Mike die? Does Mike become Jesse's body guard?

I'm also wondering if maybe Walt will come clean to Hank in a way to protect both Hank and himself. If he spills the beans to Hank then he can tell him everything about Gus and give Hank the extra info it could take to kill Gus.

wow over 20 pages...saw this in new netflix shows queue and watched pilot last night, pretty boring for 20-30 minutes and then awesome. Plan to keep watching without reading this thread to avoid spoilers!

Holy smokes!

That last half hour of that episode was super intense. Probably the most engaged I've ever been to a tv program.

Don't have much else to add (or to hypothesize about) other than the wait till Sunday is killing me.

Total Speculation, but I can see Hector somehow teaming up with Walter and Jesse to take down Gus. He is the only one that knows Gus' background from Chili - which I can't wait to hear that bit of info.

This season has to end one of two ways, Gus = dead or Walt and family on the run.

This show kicks my butt. I am too much of a light weight. I am two episodes in, and I am not really compelled to keep watching. Not criticizing, just not really my thing.

When this show originally started airing I lost interest after four or five episodes and stopped watching. Only this year did I go back and got into the show. Now I'm up to speed and it's become my favorite show on TV. Looking back, the show doesn't really take off until the sixth episode of the first season, imo.

Thanks I won't give up. If I can sit through 2 seasons PF Battlestar Garbagica, I can sit through this.

yeah, the first two episodes are punishing episodes and season 1, while really good was hamstrung by the writer's strike back in 2007, limiting it to 7 episodes. it really took off in season 2 and then became IMO the greatest tv story ever told in season 3 and has continued on so in season 4.

I took a long break before watching Season 3 because it was so dark. Definitely don't watch a bunch back-to-back-to-back or you're start feeling the same paranoia they feel. Dexter does the same thing to me.

Man, I hate how pretty much every scene Skyler is in, she is standing by a huge window or outside. I keep expecting her head to explode from a sniper in Gus' employment.

Also, I know there is no way Walt dies in this episode but when Jesse had the gun to his head I held my breathe. Every episode seems to have the best moment of the series and this was no exception. This scene was so tense and both guys scared the hell out of me with the way they played out their emotions.

Final thing. Mike was conspicuously absent from this episode. Any chance he turns on Gus? I have no reason to believe he will but I just have this feeling.

He's still laying in a hospital bed in Mexico. Not a whole lot to show there.
