Of course he will be available at 24. We would be moronic to take him though. He'll be available at our 2nd rounder too and we will still do the smart thing and not consider him.

This got me excited as well. Hundley has all the physical tools. I read from some pundit that BA's comment at the Combine about "spread system college QBs" being way behind in terms of being able to transition into the NFL could have been a comment to "veil" his interest in Mariota and Hundley. I have read elsewhere---can't remember where exactly (sorry)---that BA has privately been showing interest in Mariota. I think like most of us, BA is thirsty to have his QBOF in the fold, especially now that he has been extended 4-5 years. And, if there is one thing I am certain of where BA is concerned, he is 100% confident that he can mold young QBs into championship caliber winners.

This is SO funny to me---I am literally laughing out loud---just because the whole point is we haven't been able to see him---so much so that we were forced to relive the Lindley days instead.

No one is really in position to judge a 4th Rd. project in their rookie campaign.

Does he need alot of work? Definately. Lets see if he's made any strides from one year to the next. He needs playing time of which thankfully, last year he got very little of.

But I'm all for bringing in someone to push him AND Stanton.

he played in 2 games,in denver he threw the ball miserable,and he got lucky to find ellington ina wrong pass
after he played one snap running backwards and throwing the football 20 yard away from the receiver he targeted

I'd be open to drafting him in the very late rounds to push Logan, but I don't think that happens.

No one has seen enough of Logan Thomas to make a full assessment on him yet, in my opinion. I think a lot of current football fans are so used to Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, and to lesser extents guys like Teddy Bridgewater, and are unwilling to understand that some guys need to adjust to the game.

This doesn't mean I'm blindy a Logan Thomas fan, just that I'm willing to give him two seasons to show promise.

Mitch, I have been intrigued with Hundley as well. He does possess all the tools. Has good footwork and is accurate and strong enough to make ALL the throws (with touch). Has shown that he can step up into the pocket while keeping his eyes down field, and is an adept runner once forced out of the pocket. He has good size, speed, and strength. The only hold-back is that he almost always played in the gun, therefore he has not been able to show if he can actually read defenses on his own.

I believe this staff could coach him up and I would like to see him compete with LT for the QBOF, ESPECIALLY since he wants to be a Cardinal so badly. Just a thought.

It's refreshing to hear that prospects would love to play for us as opposed to rookies holding out from us when drafted, or free agents avoiding AZ and/or using us to leverage a bigger contract from another team.

hundley has best winning record for any qbs in UCLA history
his percentage went from 64 to 66 and then 69
he threw just few interception
he has to learn how to play qb in the nfl,but thats the case for all the rookies qbs,even luck
if u have the talent u can emerge pretty fast,as for koepernick or russel wilson did

I would take him, ignoring opportunity cost. I watched several of his interviews, he seems about 5x faster in thought processing than Thomas.

Hundley isn't an Arians style QB. And he has a fatal flaw that's very difficult to coach out of a kid, lack of pocket awareness.

Good kid, very good college QB, but he'll get sacked over and over in the nFL.
