Quick synopsis since I'm tired from the AM practice:
-Emmitt in Cardinal red still takes getting use to
-The Quan can't make a cut to save his life......when he catches a pass it sounds like he is hitting the ball with a wooden paddle....however he never dropped one that I remember
-Player has some serious competition....I can't pronounce the guys name
-Blake's deep ball is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen
-Parsons was VERY sharp.....Parsons > Mccown? hmm....
-Gilmore was the only reciever that looked any good out there
-Kasper is fast as hell!!!!
-Blake's accuracy had some problems

Hey guys... Just got back from Camp. Went up for the morning and afternoon Practice today.... I agree whole-heartedly with Card Trader.... His obseravations were pretty much the same as mine....
The Quan is a big guy, but looks like he was running on a Slip'n'Slide. He must have fallen about 5 times durring drills, and the ball was hitting him in the pads, and not the hands.... However, he is a nice guy. I walked next to him as he left the field.. He is polite, and seems very smart. I think he was just nervous, this being his first day in the NFL. I expect good things from him.
The receiving corp scares the " ba-jees-its" out of me, to be perfectly frank. I wasn't too impressed. It is early, but there is a LOT of room for improvement. I'm not real sure the guys we have now are gonna be able to get open. Again, I hope it is just because it is early. It is only the first day of camp, afterall. Gilmore cleary stood out, IMO.
The good thing is that Jerry Sullivan was yelling up a storm, which I always enjoy witnessing first-hand. He is a hell-of-a-coach.
The only other thing I would add, is that the second string punter is for real, and Parsons did look better than McCown. His decisions appeared quicker, and he threw very fluidly. Also, Jim O. was not kidding ... Adrian Wilson found himself some guns. I think he must have been on the Pittman Bicep Plan. He is friggin' huge. Also, as Jim mentioned... KVB is ALOT bigger. Final thing I would say, is for all you that are curious about Wendell Bryant... He was noticebly sucking wind out there... He looks outta shape cardio wise... Of course, this is his first time in Flag.
There were some positives, but the team has a lot of work to do, IMO. I was very optimistic going up... Now, I say anywhere from 4 to 7 wins as it stands now... I hope to see Pre-season improvement. There is still more than enough time to do so....
