I believe the first coach we bring back for a 2nd interview will be our head coach. I don’t think BB will dick around giving a bunch of second interviews. If the first guy we bring back leaves it will tell me we didn’t get the guy we really wanted.

Caldwell would be a fantastic hire. It's bizarre how it seems some would rather hire a risky name than a guy who won 11, 9, and 9 with the worst franchise in the NFL. Caldwell would give the team immediate stability and credibility, something it desperately lacked last year. He would also get a great staff, again something it lacked last year.

I am pretty sure Caldwell never coached Luck.

Correct. Caldwell was fired the year Manning went down and the sucked for Luck. Which, IMO, is kind of uncool, but that's Irsay for you.

Closer to the vest for sure. Watching this closely and saw NOTHING about Caldwell coming here for an interview.

There should NOTHING appealing about Cardinals situation over Jets or Browns. ZERRRRRRO.

So why chose a team buried in NFCW over AFCE where only one team is dominant. Likely a better QB prospect in Darnold. More stable front office (comparatively) and an owner who is not hands on with a GM who is more stable than Cardinals situation.
More stable front office? Have you paid attention to the Jets?

I question how you know anything concrete about bieniemy’s coaching chops.
Well, the guy has been coaching for 18 years and spent 17 of them as a position coach. No coordinator job until this past season on any level. I have a friend who coached college and 1 year in the NFL who got a head coaching gig. Bieniemy spent most of his coaching career as a running backs coach. Got to be a reason for that.

While I think Caldwell wouldn't be a bad hire, I don't think he's right for here.

So you think Reid is an idiot for making him coordinator this past season? Whatever his role, he’s a part of that chiefs high flying offense.
