I have a weird feeling, they are going to make it look like they moved earth and in the end hire Todd Bowles or Freddie Kitchens aka BA guys.

I could see Kitchens getting an interview, he is getting one with the Browns. I don’t see the Cards going defensive in their coaching hire
Never go full offense.

That’s interesting. I know some people here mentioned him a while ago. I think the thing with these young guys is you need to have some age/experience on their staff as a sort of mentor.

Bowles name has been mentioned a lot and he’s available. The Falcons canned Keith Armstrong who had two interviews to replace Arians last season. If that’s the route they choose to go they could surround Kingsbury with an experienced staff. That seems to be the trend.

Kingsbury and someone like Wade Phillips...A good/great DC that no longer has HC aspirations, but can help lead the team and mentor the young HC.

I hope the Cards brain trust moves quickly if they like one of these guys and not insist on second interviews. Don't want to take the last man standing again.

I'll say this about a Kingsbury hire

I don't know if it will work, but it would be fascinating to watch

Do you get the Chip Kelley innovation without the whacky stuff?

Seeing those numbers show me that his offense produced that’s for sure but obviously the defense was awful.

Bieniemy would be just like hiring the offensive version of Wilks. Hell no
I certainly remember Eric Bieniemy, the player. I understand that he's the OC for the Chiefs, and that apparently means something. Wasn't he also the OC there under Alex Smith? I don't remember that offense being very special, especially in the playoffs. I guess my point is that I'm not sure Bieniemy has anything to do with KC's current offense. Reid makes all the offensive decisions there & Mahomes would make any coach look good. Someone enlighten me, as I'm sure I might be missing something with Mr. Bieniemy.

Actually bieniemy has only been OC for a year. Nagy preceded him. So . . . under Reid looks like Nagy learned a lot in that position. The hope would be Reid’s tutelage continues to pay dividends. I’m interested, but not sold, in him. Zac Taylor too so far.

Bienemy may be the Chiefs OC but Reid calls the plays.

Nagy seems to be doing well for himself with Reid having called plays too.

You are all forgetting that Pederson who is now the Super Bowl winning HC for the Eagles was the OC under Reid as well.

So Reid's coaching tree is looking pretty impressive IMO.

I’m not going to even remotely compare Bieniemy to Pederson.
