Lions deserve it for firing a head coach who had two consecutive winnings seasons and was getting the most of their 100 million QB.Wilks was only a one year disaster. Patricia is goin to cost the Lions 2 years minimum.
The meetings do not start until he gets there... thus he is not late. media just getting bunched panties.I just read that Patricia the DISCIPLINARIAN is late to his own meetings. The anti anti Belichick.

Totally disagree here. There is nothing more disrespectful out of someone who is supposed to be a leader that can't or won't manage their own time. That is sheerly an example of "I think I am more important than you and do not respect you." People have family and friends to go home to, this is wasting their lives. NFL players and media are people.Someone please explain to me how this is anything but BS "news". The media does their best, at times, to blemish the NFL. Does anyone believe that there is a countdown clock on the podium/conference table. It is his meeting and I am fairly certain there is no doomsday timer involved and he is the only violator.
Who are the others? The ones who are there to find out the plans for the rest of the day. Just eat some more donuts while waiting for the HC to arrive.

Became a leader at a young age and didn't realize this. Not that I thought that I was more important. I would just get caught up in something and forget time. But nothing undermines your authority more than stuff like this.

I've been guided by the principle of "if you are 5 minutes early you are 10 minutes late"--in other words be there 15 minutes early minimum so you can make sure you are prepared to start at the expected time. It works and in the long run I believe it is appreciated. It is rare when someone that works for me is there first.
You schedule a meeting, be there. As an executive I hold myself accountable. We literally have a “late jar” in our corporate office. You’re late, name goes in the jar and we announce all on a monthly basis. Even our CEO. As a leader you do not want your name announced. Lead by example. The meetings do not start until he gets there... thus he is not late. media just getting bunched panties.
That attitude leads a company straight into the toilet.Someone please explain to me how this is anything but BS "news". The media does their best, at times, to blemish the NFL. Bieniemy has a LOT more experience coaching than leftwich. A LOT.Hypocrisy is a poor managerial style.
This defense will take care of itself is we get a few run stoppers.
The offense has to be pieced together and needs to be built to match the style of the new HC/OC, otherwise the incongruity that we saw to start this year will persist.
Injuries killed off whatever hope remained after McCoy was let go.
Lastly, Bieniemy is a one year OC who has little background in high level coaching. Hiring him would be the same as hiring Byron Leftwich to be HC.
