The clock only stops inside of 5 minutes in the 4th quarter and inside of 2 minutes. The rest of the time the clock is stopped until the ball is spot, then resumes after

Good news is , if the Cards score here after taking another couple minutes off the clock the run game for the bears probably goes away.

Clock runs until 5 minutes left in half, then it’s stopped on out of bounds plays. This was a rule change a few years ago.
