Good thought about going to Kirk.

I would love to see the all 22 on that 3rd down. I don't think Chase was open up the sideline but he might have been.

Obviously under heat but it looked like Edmonds was open on that 3rd down play too

Don’t know if he thought Kirk was going to work back further or if it was simply a bad throw, but that one hurts.

It's not about going "downfield". Its about running routes that are 2-3 yards short of the sticks consistently, all season.

If it's 3rd and 9, you run a 10 yard route....not a 6 yard route. Its a trend we have seen in a lot of games this year

Right but in that situation having at least 1 "sure thing" route is valuable for the reason I mentioned. the 30 seconds we saved by completing that pass is why NO ran out of time

Smh thats the play Kyler HAS to make.

Doesn't help that Kirk is coming off an ankle injury, but still.

Also HOW Kyler threw that makes the Mahomes and even Russell Wilson compares seem a bit off.

Kyler is a set thrower. Russell WIlson/Mahomes roll into that throw. No reason to set and try to gun that in there.

smh

Did Brees hurt his thumb, I would have never guessed by the lovefest so far on tv. Enough about the thumb already. It’s not like he lost his thumb and sewed his big toe in its place.

Low percentage throw after running that far on both ends

And Murray isn’t seeing the field well today

Looks like they’ve abandoned run entirely because of O-line weakness.

we have to stop them here and our O has to get going, this is not easy but they have to learn to step up
