Some of you really want to give Peterson an extension, lol.
I would argue that he has played like this most of his career. He is not a CB who wants to give up zero catches...he likes to play soft and try to read the QB, drive on the ball and get a turnover.

We need to come out more aggressive in the second half. More play action. I wouldn’t mind throwing the ballot 12 plays in a row.

Saints are not going to let us run the ball.

I would argue that people that think giving up catches on slants to maybe the best WR in the NFL means the CB isn't playing well have too high of expectations.

You can't take away everything, against a guy like Thomas I think PP is doing ok. he's a big fast WR you have to pick your poison

We need a long 1st drive to give the defense time to rest

Metcalf going off? He has a total of 3 catches 13 yrds. Yeah, he has 2 tds but going off, not even close.

Back to the 3rd down play to Kirk the ball is snapped with 2:40, if we try and go downfield and don't get it, the clock stops about 2:30 and they get the ball after the punt about 2:20. Instead they got the ball at 1:50 so we used 30 seconds by completing that pass. Now obviously if you GET the first down that's all moot, but at that point in the game that 30 seconds is a big deal.

That’s a better half than Is-A-Bust-A has had in his career so far

We aren't calling press coverage so he is running quick slants underneath

Totally. I don't understand why we don't let P2 play press man on Thomas unless they don't think he can handle the assignment.

Because Vance has no idea how to use PP21. It’s gonna look like Peterson has had a lousy day, but he’s been poorly utilized

Because Vance won't take my phone calls and play my box and 1 defense (-:

It's not about going "downfield". Its about running routes that are 2-3 yards short of the sticks consistently, all season.

If it's 3rd and 9, you run a 10 yard route....not a 6 yard route. Its a trend we have seen in a lot of games this year

Intentional grounding. Don't see that much.
