I think it's simply the difference between a casual fan and a diehard.

As perennial season ticket holders, we invest a lot of time, money, and passion every season.

It's easy to want to lose out when you just watch the games on TV, IMHO.
Oh wait now i get it, you’re calling all of us “casual fans” I almost missed the insult there. Nicely played.

Had season tickets for 8 seasons (4 seats). How am I not a die hard?

I have purchased hundreds and hundreds of dollars in merch.

You were saying?

Never said I was any better. Just an observation that - in general - those that attend the games want to win out and those that simply watch from afar don't care if we lose out.
And you are wrong. You are wrong about not saying you were better. You literally said casual fans want to lose and die hards want to win. Sorry bud you put that in writing. You’re also wrong that it has anything to do with location. Our family has had season tickets since the cards moved to az. Literally every single season. Every member of our family is rooting for a loss today. Why? Because we are smart.
