Good job cards, I knew you could pull out a L when it mattered to protect that #1 pick. Close loss is a win today.

We're #1 (pick) We're #1 (pick) We're #1 (pick) We're #1 (pick)

Now we need to trade the pick for more picks.
And the chances are you will never get the value for it!

Unless I get a major haul I’m drafting Bosa or Oliver & happy with it.

That's how you tank a final drive! At least we're number one at something!!

Won't happen. There's now going to be the debate is Josh Rosen our qbotf?

As an outsider and casual Cardinals watcher, Rosen was .... bad. Really, really bad.

But I mostly blame the Cardinals for throwing him into this dumpster fire.

We were basically a phantom defensive holding call away from winning the game. Huge game-changing penalty that was very weak - and the flag was thrown so quickly, too. Of course, we gave up the huge run on the next play, but that play never should have happened. Frustrating that piss poor officiating continues from year to year.

First time since 1958 that the franchise has had the first pick. Nice run. Six decades of not being THE worst team in the league.

Was someone else playing QB on that last drive?
He didnt kick that FG, catch or run the ball. He looked good on that one drive but to credit him with the 3 points is a stretch IMO. But kudos to Josh that he didn't fumble or throw a pick on that drive. I hope he gets his coffee and book, sits under that tree at UCLA, and comes back strong in 2019.

You are right. He also didn't drop the dime throw he put on Sherfield that would have put them at first and goal. The point was that another defensive blown assignment cost us this game. Thanks Wilks. You suck at installing and teaching a defensive scheme.

How about we all just enjoy the firing of Wilks and having the number one pick. Can we all agree on that?

Regardless of who our coach is next year - trade down and stockpile picks. One player isn't going to turn things around. We need multiple players.

Defense was one part as were turnovers by our gifted QBOF. Everyone played a part.

There seems to be a Rosen v Anti Rosen faction forming on this board.

Maybe. However, I think if Rosen plays well to start next season it will be pushed into the background.

I do think the Cardinals need to protect themselves by acquiring a better backup.

I think it's simply the difference between a casual fan and a diehard.

As perennial season ticket holders, we invest a lot of time, money, and passion every season.

It's easy to want to lose out when you just watch the games on TV, IMHO.
Hmm when I was going to every game as a season ticket holder I rooted for buddy lose games to get his ass outta phx. Has nothing to do with that. You’re just a bit shortsighted imo. And that’s your prerogative.
