WTF is Rackers good for? No way is the occasional onside kick worth this piece of crap.

He should have been cut before this year.

This is the best I've seen Leinart play in a clutch situation for some time.

As much as the cards sucked that half, it would have been a lot different without those two turnovers

Defense has to step up for any chance

80 points. Unbelievable. Most in NFL playoff history. And its not even half time. Stupid Cardinals.

Honestly, I've been hammering our defense all season. But even I didn't think this was possible. 80 points? 60 in the last 2 consecutive halfs??
DRC is a PUNK... my 8 year old daughter is tougher than he is.
Mcfadden BLOWS!
Rolle still can't cover anyone...
Wilson? See Rolle!

Who the hell tought our guys tackling technique?? He ought be shot!!!

OK... now that I got that out of the system, GO CARDS!!!

I'd like to say that the Cardinals should have kept running the ball to keep the ball out of the Saints hands but the offense had a great response by keeping the ball over 5 minutes and scoring a TD and the defense still laid down like the dogs that they are today.

Cardinals have to take a completely different approach in the 2nd half or they have ZERO chance to come back.

This is Davis' last chance to keep me on his side. If they come out in the 2nd half and actually make adjustments I will give him some credit. If they keep doing what they've been doing...I don't know. Firing him is probably too severe but really, how can you defend what the defense has done?

DRC has been playing with turftoe for weeks. Turftoe has kept lots of players out DRC hasn't missed a game with it. Add in the knee injury and I don't think we can fault him for not finishing this game.

In Davis's defense, he's out of bullets... Hayes, DRC, Rolle are all out. Campbell is playing with that cast... Our replacements all SUCK! Davis is definitely up for questioning, but he's got nothin to work with now...

Meh... he's a PUNK. I was actually referring to his unwillingness to tackle. When you play the game scared, stuff happens. He's a wimp...

Wow, what a terrible first half of football. At least it doesn't seem like anything else can go wrong. *knock on wood* I don't understand the the blame that is being heaped on Bill Davis. From the half of football I have seen, we just aren't making plays. McFadden was there on the pass to Colston, but he didn't get his head around like usual. McFadden missed a tackle on the Bush run. A Wilson overran Shockey on his catch. We didn't get to the QB on the flea flicker. Guys, our players aren't executing at all. Between Okeafer's inability to keep contain or generate a pass rush, McFadden's terrible technique, or our play up the middle (this means both safties, ILB's and NT) we aren't getting it done at all.

I think that we are starting to see how we can move the ball, so that is encouraging. However, fact is that a different defense needs to show up (and not just different players due to all the injuries) in the 2nd half and give us a shot to get back into this.

This looks bad but they've shown some heart today.

The last two games have cemented what we need in the offseason, more defense.

We need to land one free agent at least, keep Dansby and do something in the draft.

Oh and our DC needs to learn how to coach too.

and DC that knows what he is doing... keep Davis on as LBs coach, but bring in a DC who knows how not to give up 70 points in 3 quarters
!!

Or 80 points in a game and a half. Most ever in NFL playoff history. Add that to dead last in points allowed and points scored, worst rushing team ever and most kickoff returns in one season to the Cards list of dubious records.

Gotta love Cardinal football. Just when you think they suck they do something great and just when you think they're great they do something stupid. Wouldn't trade 'em for 4 other NFL teams.

Yea... he's GREAT against the prevent huh??

:bang:
That's a little unfair isn't it? He's playing well in the situation he's been put into.

A good 2 minute drill may not answer all of the questions about him but in a hostile environment in an emergency situation, getting the Cardinals in decent FG range isn't something to criticize Leinart about.

The last two or three times I've seen Leinart called upon to play he threw interceptions, so yea, this is the best I've seen him play for some time.

He's a twig 82, and that's becasue you have to be a twig to run fast enough to cover most WR's in the NFL.

He's great for what we need him for, he shouldn't be called on to tackle a whole lot anyhow.

No rolle no drc no Hayes no boldin no warner! Ouch...

Call the fat lady folks... Cards d getting schooled.

That reggie bush td was a clear block in the back, oh well.

Does mcfadden ever look for the ball?

We'll see the cards heart in this second half... That hit on Warner was legal, but completely un nessecary.

Sorry for the spelling, I hate typing on am iPod

Huh, he laid one of the first hits of the game.

Saw that... It was actually a missed tackle however... Another attempt at getting a "highlight reel" moment. I've seen him shy away from a tackle far too many times. Sick talent and zero heart means squat to me.

When every player is not executing, missing tackles, not getting any pressure on the QB and out of position its on the DC. If only one or two are out of sync. Its the players. Today Davis hasn't put the guys into position to make plays.
