BTW, has Rackers been cut yet?

I expect an offseason overhaul.

That's pretty high on the list, if I see him opening day next year playing for the Cardinals then I'll be pissed.

He makes that field goal at the half it would of at least helped some.

That double miss was pathetic, followed up by a kick out of bounds.

He needs to be gone.

Guys who souldn't be back on defense...Okeafer, Berry, Beisel, Adams, and maybe McFadden. These guys just aren't able to do their job on a consistent basis which is what you need role players to do. We need smarter veterans who can provide better leadership, and more athletic younger players to improve the athleticism of our defense.

You can blame the NFL for this....we played the late game on Sunday......Make us play the early game Saturday and we have major injuries...really dumb in my opinion when Dallas played on Sat and Vikies had a bye...we were handcuffed from the get go...Unfair and bias in my opinion. Recipe to set us up to get blown out...not really fair and the NFL is a joke to do that in all honesty.
In all fairness to the league, this was setup well in advance of the playoffs. The new process adopted this year gives the Saturday games to the #1 seeds in the divisional round. This is an advantage the Saints earned by achieving the best record in the conference.

If we want to change it, we need to play better in the regular season and earn a bye, or at least the #3 seed........or keep hoping that the #6 will beat #3 in the wild card round. Blame Philly for not beating Dallas last week....

I totally agree with this. Our veterans on defense aren't leaders and don't play smart. The youth of our defense needs to get more athletic. Our offense needs to shift more emphasis towards running with Wells to develop consistency. We need to resolve our issues with Boldin, as well as figure out where we are going long term at QB. A big offseason upcoming for the Cardinals.

To avoid that you need a higher seed.

This game should teach these turn it on anytime we want clowns that you can't lose 2 games to the 49ers without consequences.

This team needed this game, an absolute ass pounding so they can get it through their heads that they need to play football all year long.

Need more than this game. They've had 6 azz poundings in the last two seasons because they take games off while reading their press clippings (Heck they quit playing at halftime if they have a big lead.). Going to take a major overhaul of the roster to do that I'm afraid. That or a big time defensive coordinator.

Why do I feel like Dansby just told Pierre Thomas I'm going to play with you guys next year?

Dansby needs to be let go too.

We have held onto a lot of players in order to make a run, that's normal but the greatest mistake you can make is taking that too far.

We're still young in a lot of ways, bye Dansby, you don't even fit our scheme, we have to move on sometiime, loved your play for the Cardinals but no way should we waste huge money on that guy, no way.

It is ugly but it ought to teach them something.

It should be a wakeup call, the team has a ton of dead weight that needs to be cut out.

We're not likely to be challenging for the SB next year, what we should do is build the foundations for the year after that to make a couple year run.

We're going to have to shave off a lot fat.

While I do agree that he doesn't fit our scheme ideally, he is the only playmaker that we have at linebacker. Personally, I don't think that he is going to come back, but if we get a chance to keep him I think that we should. His playmaking ability coupled with our terrible depth at linebacker really makes me believe that we need to do what we can to bring him back. (outside of using the franchise tag again)

Nah, you have to move forward.

It'd be better to find a lesser cheaper player in FA than to keep a guy that highly paid at that position.

We're going to have to have more young guys step up and hope our draft is also good, we need to rebuild our defense in a couple key areas.

Dansby is great and all but he dosen't fit for the moeny.

Yikes. No Dansby, Okeafer, Berry or Beisel and an unathletic Hayes. We have a ton of holes to fill at LBer this year.

I NEVER ever walk out early from games, today was it, I left with 7 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, I had enough.

What a miserable performance...our DC should be ashamed of himself--he coached a unit that gave up 83 points in 2 games (7 Pts is fault of special teams), Pendergast was fired for less.

I will say this I hope the Saints win it all.
