If Palmer comes back he will get injured again. He's too immobile at this point and the OL is in worse shape than we he was playing. It's difficult to think of really good QB's who didn't hang on a year or two too long. They're just wired differently.

If Gabbert wins out, pigs fly, retreating Glaciers wipe out the play structure in the apartment common area and we make the playoffs, he damn well better sit on the bench and watch how far Gabbert can take us.

If Gabbert doesn't win out, sure have a game or two if you want CP.

If QB Carson Palmer is cleared by the medical staff the earliest he could return is week 16 (Giants). That means he could start practicing this week? Players designated for IR return need to practice for two weeks before they return to the field.

Agreed the only way he starts imo is if it is a farewell game. He should hang it up and go out healthy.
