The Suns are just 5 independent parts as oppose to the Celtics, a finely tuned machine.

the celtics have had their massive struggles too. so bad that some fans were even questioning the trades they made for KG and Allen

God suns are beyond pathatic right now, no defense having turnover after turnover just disgusting.... The suns better make some type of trade to bring in a defensive player that can atleast atempt to play defense and rebound. Is Mourning still avliable he wouldn't be a bad option..... And if this doesn't improve at all by the all star break please fire Porter .

Just to keep things in perspective, as bad as our defense and rebouding is, giving up 60 points at half is not unusual. Scoring 26 points with 3 minutes to go before half, that's rather unprecedented for a Suns team.

A defensive player won't help. They need team defense like the Celts. Allen and Pierce were never known for their D prior to the convergence of the big three under the direction of a coach, Tom Thibodeaux, the guy that D'Antoni scoffed at in favor of his highschool coach brother.

Certainly, if an assistant coach like Thibodeaux can turn a poor defensive team into a good one, then a defensive-minded head coach like Terry Porter should be able to do the same, no? Of course it helps having a Garnett on your team instead of a Stoudemire.
