I was gonna say Alvin Harper 2.0 but that would be giving Breaston a little too much credit. The Chiefs also released Kevin Boss (TE). Apparently he suffered a concussion in the 2nd game of the year and then was placed on IR as doctors felt he could not be cleared to play for the rest of the year. Sounds like Boss's career is done.
Breaston wasn't ever much of a scoring threat as he only has 9 TDs over 6 seasons. Me thinks Warner made him more than he was along with having Fitz and Boldin on the field at the same time.
Damn, you boys are killing my main man, Stevie.
I agree that his stats were inflated playing with Warner, but you can't fault him for that. I also remember him playing super tough, especially for a player of his size. Breaking tackles, out jumping people, fighting for extra yards.. The man played hard all the time. Anyone remember the game saving tackle and fumble he caused when he chased down an INT at the 2 yard line or so? I want to say it was against the Rams...
The Cardinals O-line doesn't allow a QB enough time to throw a 5 yard pass so it doesn't matter.Its 3rd and 5.
You have Steve Breaston, Andre Roberts, Early Doucet, and Rob Housler on the field.
You would you throw it to, to move the chains ?

Dunno. New coach, different offensive system, new (or coached-up) QB.Its 3rd and 5.

Certainly for me #1: Breaston, 2: Roberts, #3 Doucet.
I believe stats would argue for Doucet, however.

I'm thinking Pittsburg when they lose Mike Wallace.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, Breaston was way overpaid by the Chiefs.
This is why the middle of the draft is so important. The Cardinals were not wrong to let players like Steve Breaston, Alan Branch, Antonio Smith and Calvin Pace go, but they did fail in drafting their replacements and using those saved resources to spend on impact players. One reason I didn't like the Michael Floyd pick is because the draft is flush every year with WR talent. You should be using rounds 3 - 6 of drafts to stock up your #3, 4 and 5 WRs to develop, replace, and then let go unless you strike gold. You aren't going to hit every time, but WR is such a deep talent pool because of the college game that smart teams should not have any problem filling their WR depth needs.

Is this a trick question? Steve Breaston of course!
What's the next question?
Who do want playing quarterback on third and 9?
Kurt Warner or Max Hall or Derek Anderson or Kevin Kolb?
The Jeopardy question is "Who is Kurt Warner?"
