shut up. Barkley doesnt have an axe to grind against the Suns. He is just calling it how he sees it. I appreciate guys like him, unlike Reggie Miller who is obviously Pacers biased. Of course he is going to talk about what people did wrong, he was a superstar player, he gets frustrated at poor play.

Man, he is one nasty SOB. He's just lost it in the post-game analysis. The Clips "deserved" to win. Really?

Quite honestly, the refs were tired too. We played at home and I do expect home court treatment. It won't surprise me a bit if Clipper gets more treatment in game 6. Having said that, we scored tons of points inside and we didn't draw nearly enough fouls. Clippers took way more FT than us. I think it balances out. Overall, I think both teams were tired...hell, even I am tired now. 2:22am!!!!

I don't like Barkley's comment at all. Ok, so Livingston didn't step out of bound and he said it was "alright" for Brand to set illegal pick to knock our guy down who was supposed to switch on Cassell?

And he didn't have to say it like we got the BIGGEST favor of all. Cassell still needed to make that 3pt (if he wanted to) and that wouldn't win the game.

Barkley is consistently anti-Suns -- he's not even-handed in the least. I'd rip his jersey out of the ring without a second thought. Colangelo was right the first time.

I can't believe how y'all let the guy get under your skin. There's two Barkley's: the one who, when speaking into a mic, feels like he has to push buttons; and the one who really just wants to collect a pay check and play golf, because he thinks basketball fans and sports geeks are silly.

Illegal pick. :biglaugh: Are you serious? Barbosa was flattened by a guy twice his size. It happens because the laws of physics say so.

We won the game! Why nitpick things that aren't even there??

You're actually describing the same personality. He doesn't give damn about his "home team" and is just cynical enough to push the buttons of those who do. I'm not sure I buy that theory, but you've described one really great guy.

HAHAHAH Barkley calls Kenny a ******* right after asking EJ if he "wants to bet" a week after admitting he is addicted to gambling. How can anyone hate him?

That was a great pick, but if that had been, say, Mark West, the ref would've called a flagrant foul on him for being ... Mark West. ;)

I like chuck, but that was an idiotic comment. The suns were up 19, and fell asleep for the last 6 mins of the 3rd. How did the clips deserve the win?

Truly, if you manage to win a double overtime playoff game, you deserved it.

In the closing minutes of the fourth quarter, Nash drove for a basket, made it, and was fouled.

The referees said he was not in the act of shooting. IMO and apparently D'Antoni as well, he was clearly in the act of shooting. I thought this play could have salted away the game in regulation.

In regard to Livington being out of bounds, I thought the referres blew the call (perhaps because of the referees' angle). I don't think Livingston' foot touched the line.

I'm not sure what to make of Marion being clobbered under the basket and missing the two free throws. Maybe this was technically not a flagrant foul, but Marion was hit hard enough to cause a concussion. I truthfully didn't think he would make both FT's before he went to the line. I certainly thought this foul against Marion far exceeded a hard foul.

And please, Steve Nash get well. The Suns need your jumper. He clearly is playing with his wits, but not his legs.

Addition:

Also if Charles wants to look at one single bad call in a game (like Livingston) and not the other bad calls in context, then I believe this is no more than excuse. Overall, despite some missed calls on both teams, I think the game was fairly well officiated.

The ref was standing right there. His heal touched the baseline.

So I think I have the solution the the NBAs (and all sports) ref problems:

Make the refs do a post game presser like everyone else! If the coaches and players have to talk about how the messed up, the refs should too. Why shouldnt they have to answer to anyone? I'd love to see the refs getting drilled by the media on blown calls. But it would also give them a chance to explain things, saying I called X because I believe it broke this or that rule. It would be interesting to say the least

Bill Walton's favorite team is the Suns, and he says so all the time--does that mean we should take down Barkley's jersey and put Walton's up? Puhlease.

I don't give a crap about his jersey. It's just kind of embarrassing and obnoxious.

Chuck said worse things before they put up his jersey. Why would they care now?

He is painful to listen to. He needs lip surgery or speech coaches, because his enunciation is horrible. He bags on Kenny Smith, but Kenny is a much better studio guy.

Barkley has become the entertainer on that set. And he will forever be known as " The guy, who got drunk on set, so tore up they had to put a freeze frame picture up while Ernie and Kenny were talking about the previous game." Freaken hilarious he is, bring on the color analyst CHUCK haha.

first off I think the suns were hosed all game long! I am sick and tired of the clippers guarding no one in the Key for 6 to 8 sec most every time down the floor. They havn't called it since game one when they called it twice since then nothing. 80 percent of our inside basket that we make we are being fouled with no call, Marions basket was not really a flagerant but it was clearly a break away foul, he was a head of the pack and the first contact was a forearm to the back. every time cave man tries to post up he shoves his man completly out of his way untill he gets the position he wants, we need to take some lessons from Raja and hit the dirt hard when he does this.

Chap, that is a great idea. You always seem to think outside the box, I admire you for that... now, what was Walton's jersey number...
