Someone is suggesting that the Cardinals should not throw “stupid” money at CJ Mosley.

My question for Austin Gayle would be if he understands the relationship of supply and demand ? When your stats compare things to the rest of the league, and you make an opinion piece based on those numbers is great.

Mosley is not getting paid against the rest of the league, because the every linebacker is not AVAILABLE in the league.

Mosley is available and the Cardinals have done an extremely poor job at bringing in linebacker talent.

Supply meet Demand, and that is why they will have to over pay.

10m more will free up when the Flacco trade is official.

Actually, I'd really like to trade down and take Devin white, probably the best player in the draft and a good person/leader

You can’t possibly watch these videos and think he’s the best player in the draft

I don't know. Spending a ton of money on a run stuffing MLB doesn't seem like a good idea in today's NFL. I'd take a pass on Mosley.

It's a legit argument. You can probably find a BETTER coverage linebacker that doesn't play the run quite as well, but isn't a bad run defender.

what exactly is "stupid money" in regards to Mosley?? 10mil a year?? 15mil? I know MLB dont command as much salary in comparison to a corner or an edge rusher...but I dont know what the market is right now.
would five years at 45mil be stupid money?

Think he’s looking for at least 11mil a year.

The top 3 paid ILBs

Kuechley 5 yrs 61 mil, 34 guaranteed
Wagner 4 yrs 43 mil, 22 guaranteed
Ogletree 4 yrs 43 mil 21 guaranteed

Anthony Hitchens signed last season for 5 yrs 45 mil, 25 guaranteed.

so 5 years at 45mil with 30mil guaranteed is the range we are looking at then? We can get him for less per year with more guarantees obviously.
money doesnt seem to be a deal breaker unless he wants Keuchly money

Bucannon is a free agent. We can run Reddick and Aaron Brewer.

We'd allow 270 ypg rushing.
yeah im just thinking if you don't sign an ILB, youre signing Buc. A run stuffer next to Reddick is ideal if we are running Reddick.
