Its not a celebratory post. Its just an announcement. Of course they have to announce it. For all we know there will be a "DWash has been released" announcement.
Technically do they even need to do anything? I mean he is under contract so they could expect him to show for OTA or camp

The NFL must be in a good mood because the Steelers' Martavius Bryant was reinstated too.

Some more info from ESPN

The league said Tuesday that Washington may work out at the team training facility and participate in meetings. He will not be cleared for all preseason activities, including practices and games, until the league has confirmed arrangements have been made for Washington regarding "clinical resources'' in Phoenix.

"Prior to the start of the regular season, the NFL will review Washington's progress," read the NFL's statement. "Based on his compliance and engagement with his program and resources, he will be permitted to participate in all regular season activities beginning in Week 1. He will be evaluated later in the season for full reinstatement."

He may not be ready until 2018

In all seriousness, why are the Cards coaches so against Deone being the SS? Can he not play as good or better than TJeff?

I would see what the guy has left in the tank. Unlike other guys his age he was not taking a punishment to his body playing a contact sport in his absence, so you cannot judge his age by other players still playing. It's the football conditioning part but this guy was honestly a top five LB... let's see what he has :)

You're confusing Buc with Minter's rookie year.

No im not, Buc is a liability at LB. He had a good rookie year and has steadily declined since.

Minter has been the one steadily improving.

No, thatd be a nightmare. Buc struggles to cover TEs and RBs right now. No way could he do it as a safety.

In fact im excited to have 78 year old Dansby back, because hes an upgrade on Buc in terms of pass coverage.

So the Cardinals have to at least consider Washington's return going into the draft, not depend upon it, but at least consider it.

QB here we come. LOL

The org says they will revisit this situation and will focus on the draft, but regardless of the lip service, doesn't this basically take out our need to draft a LB in the first few rounds? We can basically x-out Reddick and Foster for our #13 pick then...

Again, covering is much easier from 15-20 yards deep as a safety than 5 yards deep as a LB. He would be fine as a safety.

OK, I will state with some confidence he will be given a chance because the Cards have just post his reinstatement on their facebook profile... you do not do this as an organization unless you mean to keep him

why? Because this guy could maybe play football again one day? You cannot put all your eggs into Dwash's pipe again. Bad idea.

Ok, so Buc can't cover! And Buc can't hold up against the run!

Then why the hell is he our starting ILB? We should trade him and replace with better talent like Foster, Reddick, or potentially DWash.

or because your fans have been asking about it for 3 years and you can finally give an answer.
