I really like Fox. I would take him at 4-6 if we drop in the lottery. Here's what I like:
1. Incredible athleticism - everyone knew he was not going to shoot from outside and he still consistently got to the basket at will.
2. probably the best defensive point guard of the three top PGs in the draft
3. In the biggest game, he hounded Lonzo Ball. I still like Ball but he brought his best and had the better game.
Honestly, if we were picking three, i would have to think about drafting Jackson and then trading Bledsoe for a top pick in the bottom of the top 10 and picking Fox.
I would not be surprised if Fox turned out to be better than Fultz or Ball
I'm only taking a shot at fox at 5, if we swing a trade to get both philly picks.
I.e. we get 1, philly gets 3 and 5, they want fultz... I'll consider that trade to take jackson (who i may even take at 1) and fox at 5. I think it would be a huge dissapointment if you do this whole tank season and all you get is fox.
Fox lack of jumpers is more like Westbrook/Rose lack of jumper. Not a Rondo situation. He is also the best free throw shooter among the point guards.
If the Suns get the first pick and take Fox over Faultz/Jackson/Ball then we will be the punchline for all of summer from the media and other fans. Of course Fox may prove himself right once the season starts but drafting him 1st overall would definitely make for a brutal off season. My thoughts are the Suns would prefer to draft a forward and the top two on the list are Jackson and Tatum. I think Jackson would be worth a top 3 pick but I waiver after that. I don't think Tatum has a high ceiling.
Fox is exciting no doubt but are the Suns willing to draft a PG?
My thoughts are draft BPA even if it is a PG and let the chips fall where they may.
However, I have to think McDonough might have PG fever having dealt with the likes of Dragic, IT and Knight. Drafting Jackson might feel like a blessing if it happens. I hope the Suns get the first pick so they have their choice.

The only PG I want is Fultz. If the ping pong balls stink, the Suns need to trade down.
The Suns have to be cautious though. Fox is a really good prospect. Nothing more.
Thats why the NBA stinks. They need to get rid of the 1 and done rule in college. These freshman, taken top 10, are trash because 1 year ago they were high schoolers, how on earth can you expect them to compete vs Lebron James who came into the league straight out of high school?
Thats all any of these players are. Id say Fultz is the only polished guy in the entire draft.

100% they should institute a 3 year rule. It would vastly improve the NBA product.
FTFY
Everyone would love it. Colleges would love it because they get players longer. The NBA would love it because they can evaluate player longer and have less risk when they draft. It also means they control more of their prime years contract wise.
The people who would not love it would be the players.
A 20 year old age limit might be good. Then players can decide whether to play college or sign with an D league team to show off their stuff for two years. Make the predraft pro play one year contracts only and they can enter the draft at 20.
Nope, just pointing out the hypocrisy.Do you use 1% examples to justify every inane thought?
