Apparently, cleveland radio said itd be Wally, Snow, and JJ Hickson for Shaq and tuck

That would be really strange if true. What do the Cavs want with both O'Neal and Ilgauskas, especially when they're paying Ben Wallace big money too? I think Cleveland must be moving Ilgauskas out in another trade if this is true.

This all assumes that Stoudemire would be able to score reliably against Bonner, but we already know he can't. In fact, the last two months have shown that Stoudemire is virtually useless in isolation situations, regardless of the opponent. He needs to get the ball on the move while the defense is still getting organized, and in that case, it doesn't really matter which player is nominally assigned to him.

This is a lot like Karl Malone. Amare and Nash were unstoppable in the pick and roll. The question I have about trading Shaq for little guys is who's gonna rebound? Marion and Diaw are gone. The Suns front court will be the worst it's been in years. If that Cleveland trade went down the Suns would be Nash, Amare and a bunch of wings.

That will instantly put the Cavs above any others in the league ...

Meanwhile, the Suns get nothing but financial relief. Why not ask Varejao in return? He is a solid big man.

Hickson is a stud. Hes just very very raw. He has Shawn Kemp potential. Minus all the drugs and unprotected sex.

Not to mention the Varejao & Robin Lopez duo of (un?)intentionally hilarious hair styles would be legendary.

on the cavs board it's been debunked a few times by cleveland area reporters. Z is going to retire a cavalier, he's meant way too much to the organization. Plus, a 7'3 guy that can shoot and do everything he can is a perfect fit next to lebron. shaq, on the other hand, is not. Unless cleveland can convince shaq to come off the bench (fat chance), i highly doubt anything goes down

So jlove. since you decided to hype everyone up with insufficient information, would you now consider this trade to happen VERY...VERY SOON?

I said I was sorry for posting the "very soon" part. The info was coming in quickly about who was coming in and out of the F.O. and seemed as if something was gonna be announce fairly soon.

There's a guy who states he has "inside info" from a Bulls source (on RealGM) that says there is a trade already agreed to, just hasn't been finalized. Hasn't said who's involved from either side. Don't know if he has legit sources or not.

With everything I've heard, i'd assume that a deal has been agreed upon, just that everyone is waiting for the ASG to be complete before it is given to the League offices for finalization. But that's just my feeling.

Yeah, the Black Jesus poster there refuses to reveal his source to mods and is very shady with his words. Right now I chalk it up in the attention monger category. He does seem confident that Amare will be a bull though.

Then again, last year Kobe told fans to get ready to buy your bulls jersey too.

I am all over that Biedriens deal. You guys realize how good of a rebounder/defender he is, how managable a deal he has and that he is.......23???

That would be the best big prospect we can get other then Aldrige IMO.

It is time for rumors to fly around. I guess we will have a few more sleepless night before something really happens. LOL

Amazingly, Gambo did bring up a good point saying that the Suns should wait until the offseason to trade Amar'e. Assuming that Amar'e doesn't get injured, the Suns will have more time to explore trade offers as well as have known draft position to work with. For instance the Warriors deal would make much more sense. Biedrins would no longer be BYC so we wouldn't have to take back any extra salary to compensate, We'd also know what pick they would have, and Anthony Randolph could still be included. On the flip side, Golden State could win the lottery and decide to keep the pick.

I'd consider betting money on the fact that NOTHING will happen. Though I think Porter is probably gone.
