Yup. Has been and continues to be one of my favorites! I wonder where all those people are who last year laughed when I would contend that Parra could easily take over CF from CY???

2013 Parra has done well in CF for 9 games. 2012 Parra didn't cover much ground in CF in 48 games. Neither has shown the defensive capability of CY though.

Parra has had a good April with the bat though. Well except against LHP.

I'll take it though, over CY's .150 batting average or whatever it's slipped down to these days.

The argument, and 82's gloating, never was about right now. It was about then and CY was much more valuable in CF from 2010-2012 than Parra. Somehow I'm supposed to be embarrassed by acknowledging that fact.

Parra isn't a cookie cutter center fielder though, CY was. Of course the CF production won't be as strong. (which I still think parra plays a great CF) Parra plays all 3 OF spots.

I think the real question will be can Eaton play better OF than CY, because he will be the everyday centerfielder.
