Since nothing will change until training camp...should there just be one thread to discuss and debate all things Kyler Murray?

Training camp? This is going to last until the end of the season if not into next

Sure. And that would make sense because there would be something new to discuss like practice or game tape. Outside of that right now we just have the same groups saying the same thing across every thread

You need a all thing Murray thread.
But the fights will eventually leak into other threads. It happens.

I think it's fine. This is the post-draft afterglow where the people who got what they wanted are going to try to force everyone else to understand that this is actually the best thing ever. In all likelihood, the cultists will settle in their own thread until actual news happens.

The conversation is already settling into "Kyler Murray: Great Pick or GREATEST PICK EVER?" I think this is what happened last year with Rosen, and it eventually settled. Only...

*checks calendar*

Three months until training camp.

new information, no, they can have new threads.

Aruging who is better, kyler is a god, etc, can all go into the same scrap heap.

It won’t happen. Kyler will fins himself into every thread from one side or the other.

I really don't see those posts, but I have a lot of people on ignore. I see a lot of posts that say "I can't believe you don't see that Kyler Murray is THE TRUTH" in response to "You know, there are a few concerns here..."

Yes. It's very strange to evaluate the evidence before making a decision.

u can get off the fence and take a position, its about college players, there is something about them on video

I said it before the draft that I liked Ed Oliver. This last season sucked a bunch out of me and so I was only vaguely following the draft. I have too much real-world stuff going on to spend the hours I did 10 years ago.

in legal conflicts -- there is this concept of "stipulation"

its the facts each side agrees to agree on, saves endless motions arguing back and forth

so can we stipulate:

1. He is small relative to NFL QB standards
2. He has only one year of college starting experience, not a great thing historically

3. He was incredibly productive that one year -- historically so
4. He brings a skill set that Josh Rosen doesnt have
5. Some NFL draft guides rated him #1, some rated him #15 or lower.
6. He played with high end talent at Oklahoma
7. He won many games at Oklahoma

it just seems most threads devolve into some form of those facts being thrown back and forth.

I'll never understand the ignore function. What point of being on a message board if you can't take a little criticism or sometimes harsh back and forth? I think that's the fun of it at times.. but to each their own. :)

Some posters are horrible and need the ignore button. There have been a few for me. I try not to use it though as it damages the experience if that poster is active in a thread with you.
