I hope he does go to SF. Let them waste the cap space on him. I like DD but his best days are long gone. He can talk all he wants but he's not going to be a dynamic player by any means.

If he can get more than the Cardinals are offering, good for him, because I wouldn't increase that offer. 2.5 mil with 1.5 in incentives seems pretty fair. I might go 3 with an incentive for 1.

I think the offer is very fair. If he signs with the 40 queers I believe that it's personal for him to play against us with a hated rival.

Darnell Dockett has visits lined up this week, hearing he will prioritize them, would like to sign by Saturday before free agency starts.

I give you two players that are free agents right now and their last four seasons.

Player 1 (Age 34, 6'4", 290 lbs)
You must be registered for see images attach

Player 2 (Age 26, 6'3", 280 lbs)
You must be registered for see images attach

Player 1 wants around or above $4M a year and probably more than just 1 year.

Player 2 is likely to take less on a 1 year prove it contract, maybe more years.

Which would you rather have?

Sorry.. Year, Games, Games Started, Total Tackles, Solo Tackles, Assist Tackles, Sacks... last number is forced fumbles.

Who is player 2?

Dockett would have to leave most of his gun collection in Florida and AZ if he moved to San Fran, maybe that will be a help. ;)

snaps and being active are likely. pro bowl is possible. 10 sacks is a long shot.

Less than a million apart, wow. I have to give Keim credit for sticking to his numbers. He's been right more than wrong when it comes to free agency.

I think this part of the Dan Williams thought process as well as contract length, just like signing other teams FAs. Unless you're a star, Keim ain't breaking the bank or tying up years in a player...it's been his 2 yr history.

The way Jurecki talked on the radio the other day, those were all separate incentives - not all or nothing...

Yep. I do believe that he signs with them he has absolutely no chance to make the Ring of Honor. I don't know if that matters to him but he IS very concerned about his legacy.

He'll still make it. That would be utter B.S. to keep him out for signing with another team (even the 49ers) after being cut.

If others are interested, he should go interview and get the best deal.
You'd think if he were really looking for the "best" deal money-wise he would. But he's just visiting Santa Clara to irk the Cards. I'd be mighty surprised if he doesn't sign back with the Cards. He's just feeling the market.

Yeah Dock, the Rams would be a great destination with you knee and that artificial turf.

You may be right. Not sure why Rams would be even interested as they have a really good defensive line. But who know what is really going on. I do hope he resigns with us.(Cards)

Sure hope that he comes back too. Don't want to see him in another uniform

Not to see this happening, but would be the ultimate dagger if he found a way to sign with the Seahags...
